Expert design and quality materials come together in this beautifully landscaped yard, showcasing Sherman & Sons’ ability to turn outdoor visions into reality.

Spring is here and the smell of mulch is in the air. It’s time to beautify those garden beds with plantings, mulch and even add a walkway or patio to your outdoor space.

With the experts at Sherman & Sons Lawn Care, the possibilities are endless.

Sherman & Sons was born out of a father’s dedication to his family—a willingness to do the hard work necessary to build a business and add a little creativity along the way.

“My father Dale raised my brother Taylor and me, working as an auto mechanic,” says owner Alex Sherman. “Struggling with injuries and needing to make a change, he started working odd jobs and cutting grass.”

With just a few lawn care jobs, Dale was finding it difficult to make ends meet. He needed help.

“Taylor and I, eight and 10 years old at the time, got to work,” says Alex. “We mowed, mulched, even went door to door with flyers to get more business. Who could say ‘no’ to kids?”

Fast forward several years, Alex and Taylor earned degrees in landscape construction and design and landscape management, respectively, and Sherman & Sons was ready to offer complete lawn care and design services, including patios and concrete work, to residents, businesses and municipalities.

Sherman & Sons focuses on keeping projects within budget by planning into the future, saving clients time and money today and down the road.

“Keeping clients comfortable and on budget is our goal,” says Alex. “We’ll do things like lay pipes or rough in plumbing now for a future project, so we don’t have to dig again later.”

For your springtime spruce up, Sherman & Sons offers the bulk products that enhance your outdoor spaces. Topsoil, mulch, stone and rock are available for pick-up or delivery, depending on your location.

“We’ll get your home ready for the outdoor season,” says Alex. “Always with our original work ethic, expertise and creativity.”
