Essential for healthy skin

Regular facials are a crucial step in anyone’s anti-aging skincare routine. Here’s why.

Once viewed as an occasional splurge reserved for special occasions, facials are now recognized as an essential part of healthy skincare, helping address everything from acne to sun damage to premature aging. At Skin Care Solutions Elite MediSpa, every facial is designed around one simple philosophy: Healthy skin is beautiful skin.

More than just relaxing and refreshing, SCS MediSpa facials target specific skin concerns using advanced products and innovative tools under clinical supervision to reach deeper skin layers and deliver longer-lasting results.

“One of the biggest misconceptions people have about facials is that it is a one-time miracle,” says Teresa Price, an aesthetician in the Wooster office. “Skin cells take around 28 days to renew. One facial helps, but lasting results require regular visits and a good daily skincare routine at home.”

SCS Elite MediSpa has earned national recognition as a 2026 Allergan Top 500 Award winner, placing it among the top 1% of aesthetic practices in the country. With locations in Medina, Green and Wooster, each spa is staffed by licensed aestheticians who work alongside physicians and nurse practitioners to develop results-driven treatments, ranging from signature facials to wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers and chemical peels—all designed to improve skin tone, texture and overall radiance.

“Every product and procedure we provide is tested on ourselves for multiple months before we introduce them to our clients,” Teresa says. “We only use top-rated products that produce the results our clients want to see.”

The medispa’s newest product line is Plated Skin Science. “This is the new frontier in anti-aging, in which platelet-derived exosomes instruct our cells to act more youthfully, developing our truest beauty within,” Teresa explains.

While innovative products and treatments are important, it’s the life-changing results that leave the greatest impression. Kelci Keim experienced such dramatic results from her facials at SCS Elite MediSpa, she became an aesthetician herself. Once a client, she now works in the Green office.

“I used to have cystic acne and came here for advanced facials and professional products, which made my skin clear, even and balanced,” Kelci says. “That transformation inspired me to switch careers and become a licensed aesthetician.”

Taylor Davidian followed a similar path. After experiencing stress-related breakouts during college, it sparked her interest in skin health, ultimately leading her to change her career path and pursue aesthetics. She is now an aesthetician in the Medina and Green offices.

These aestheticians work alongside Dr. Dana Bonezzi, Dr. Debra Fast and Dr. Kathleen Fearon, who provide even more options for advanced facial rejuvenation treatments, including customized dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers, lip enhancements, liquid facelifts and more.

A Doctor’s Touch

Blending science and art, the physicians at SCS Elite MediSpa combine technical expertise with an artistic eye and use injectables and fillers to bring out your best features.

When it comes to injecting something that relaxes the muscles of your face like Botox or plumps your skin like Juvederm, precision matters. A doctor’s touch isn’t just preferable—it’s essential. At Skin Care Solutions Elite MediSpa, every injectable service is performed by physicians Dr. Bonezzi, Dr. Fast and Dr. Fearon, who provide additional options for advanced facial rejuvenation, including customized dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers, lip enhancement and liquid facelifts.

The physicians know how to best enhance facial features for natural-looking results. That artistic sensibility helps them make informed decisions about how much product to use and where to place it, resulting in a more harmonious appearance.

“There is an artistry when injecting Botox and fillers or doing a liquid facelift,” Dr. Bonezzi says. “Facial balancing is key for natural-looking results.”

Spiced Apple Radiance Facial

Give your skin a seasonal refresh with SCS Elite MediSpa’s Spiced Apple Radiance Facial, featuring fall’s favorite fruit as the star ingredient.

The treatment pairs dermaplaning with a fresh apple enzyme and L-malic acid to gently exfoliate the skin’s surface and brighten the complexion. A vanilla clove hydrating mask follows, helping to replenish moisture for a smoother, more even, radiant glow

“As a bonus, it smells like warm apple cider and a light scented vanilla, which is very calming and cozy,” says aesthetician Kelci Keim.
