Designer fashions—for less
At the recently relocated Local Revue, shoppers are treated to a high-end boutique experience—without the high-end price.

When you walk into Local Revue, it feels like you have stepped into a very stylish boutique. Vogue posters line the wall. Valentino and Hermés books rest on a coffee table. Clothing is artfully arranged, vintage jewelry sparkles in displays, and Ralph Lauren handbags mingle with other leather beauties. It’s not until you glance at the price tags that you realize you’re shopping consignment.
That elevated yet accessible experience is exactly what owner Denise Toil set out to create—a luxury shopping atmosphere with affordable prices.
After years working at Ernst & Young and raising two children with her husband, Denise returned to her lifelong passion for fashion. Her early retail experience in high school and college, combined with an art history degree from Kent State University, laid the foundation. Years of professional and personal growth helped shape a boutique that blends a strong business sense with fashion-forward style.
Founded in 2024 in Bay Village, the luxury consignment boutique moved earlier this year into a larger space at Williamsburg Square Shopping Plaza in Westlake to accommodate its growing clientele and expanding inventory.
The women’s clothing selection is intentionally curated for both teenagers and adults, featuring a range of styles from classic, timeless pieces like a plaid leather handbag to trendy crop tops that appeal to younger shoppers.
“Whether you are refreshing your wardrobe for spring and summer or searching for some unique vintage pieces, there’s always something new to discover,” Denise says.
The boutique features highly sought-after brands like Anthropologie, Free People, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Biliblond and Lilly Pulitzer, alongside vintage jewelry, timeless handbags and statement coats.
“We make shopping fun and not overwhelming. You don’t have to hunt through racks of clothing,” Denise says. “Instead, we offer a select assortment of women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories for all ages and all sizes. We artfully display our featured items so it’s easy to find something that speaks to you.”
Currently, shoppers will find an appreciable selection of sandals, lightweight jackets and colorful dresses along with some beautiful prom dresses. New bathing suits were acquired from a Beachwood retailer that recently closed—offering shoppers exceptional deals.
In addition to great finds in the store, there are hundreds of additional items available at LocalRevue.com, with inventory updated almost daily.
“If you see something online that catches your eye, call ahead and we’ll pull it from our warehouse in back so you can see, feel and try it on,” Denise says. “We only display a portion of our inventory in the store, so shopping online gives you more options.”
At its heart, Local Revue is about making shopping enjoyable and personal—something that can be rare in today’s retail landscape. Coffee and tea are always available, and the staff is happy to help coordinate outfits or suggest styling ideas. Plus, consignment shopping promotes sustainability by reducing waste and landfills.
“We are planning to host after-hours private parties, where a group of friends can bring in wine and appetizers and have the entire store to themselves while we help them put together new outfits,” Denise says.
“Our store is very warm and welcoming,” she adds. “It looks fashionable but feels approachable, and that’s what makes it such a wonderful shopping experience.”
