Built for you

Whether you’re in love with a particular subdivision or your dream is to construct a home on the lot you already own, Perrino Builders can create a home that’s uniquely yours.

A stack of books sits on a wooden table, next to a lit candle and a warm cup of coffee or tea.

One of the things that sets Perrino Builders apart is its comprehensive approach to homebuilding. Rather than coordinating multiple contractors and design professionals, homeowners work with one experienced team from concept to completion.

Building a new home doesn’t necessarily mean moving to a new neighborhood. If you already own a lot in a location you love, you can build your new home right there. And if that property already has a house that no longer meets your needs, a remodel or even a complete teardown and rebuild lets you create the home you want without giving up the location you’ve come to love.

With any approach, Perrino Builders can help homeowners can create a home tailored to the way they live while staying in a location that already feels like home.

“We meet homeowners and property owners where they are—and turn properties into thoughtfully designed new homes,” says Pat Perrino, who has been building homes in Northeast Ohio for more than 40 years. “Though we have built many neighborhood developments throughout the years, many of the homes we build don’t always start on a blank piece of land.”

Countless homeowners come to Perrino Builders because they love their neighborhood and property, but the home no longer works for them. Whether they have outgrown the space and need more room for a growing family, want to age in place with first-floor living and a more functional floor plan, or simply want to build a brand-new dream home, Perrino Builders can do it all.

“There has been an increased demand for remodeling these past years as homeowners are looking to age in place,” Pat says. “We have been building additions and moving master bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs, as well as replacing steps with zero entryways and even adding elevators in homes and wheelchair lifts in garages. So many homeowners want to stay in their current homes as they age, and we help them do just that.”

In addition to remodeling homes, Perrino is known as one of the area’s premier custom home builders. While it has developed entire neighborhoods, including the current Magnolia Meadows 55 community in Sheffield Village, and is now building in the new Hawthorne Golf Estates in Solon, the company also can build on a customer’s lot.

“We are building homes ranging from 1,500 to 14,000 square feet all around Northeast Ohio on customer’s own lots,” Pat says. “We are currently building a custom home in Aurora with an indoor basketball court.”

“We also recently built a home in Pepper Pike for two sisters who wanted to live together but still have their own separate space, so we created distinct living areas for each of them,” he adds. “Plus, we have floorplans specifically designed for multi-generational homes.”

One of the things that sets Perrino Builders apart is its comprehensive approach to homebuilding. Rather than coordinating multiple contractors and design professionals, homeowners work with one experienced team from concept to completion.

The 30,000-square-foot Perrino Home Furnishings design center allows buyers to select everything from flooring, cabinetry and countertops to lighting, fixtures, paint colors, furnishings and décor under one roof, with professional designers there to help bring it all together.

“We are truly a one-stop shop,” Pat says. “Homeowners appreciate that they don’t have to run all over town making design decisions.”

When it comes to real estate, Perrino Builders stands out for the many ways it helps homeowners—from developing neighborhoods and building on clients’ own lots to remodeling homes and purchasing acreage from property owners looking to sell.

For Pat, building has always been about more than the next project. It’s about creating a company that will continue serving Northeast Ohio families for generations. His son, Tony, is an integral part of the family business and represents the next generation of Perrino Builders, carrying forward the experience, personal service and commitment to quality on which his father built the company.

“Building is my passion that has evolved over the years,” Pat says. “Every customer brings a different vision and a different way of living, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.”
