Life-changing fitness
Life-changing fitness, just twice a week? Yes!

It’s said nothing succeeds like success. Such is the growth trajectory of MaxStrength Fitness, which this month is opening its eighth studio, in Solon.
“We’re thrilled to see the excitement the new studio has generated,” says founder Jeff Tomaszewski.
If you ask anyone who has trained at MSF what makes it different from other studios, they’ll tell you it’s everything.
“Unlike other places, we don’t want our members spending their lives in a gym,” Jeff explains.
“We’ve developed an intense science-backed program that calls for only two 20-minute workouts per week. Another game-changer in the time-management department is we keep studio temps in the pleasantly chilly zone, so clients enjoy sweat-free workouts. They can pop in on their lunch hour or mornings and then go directly to work or wherever without needing to shower.”
“We are the perfect fit for busy people who want to age healthy and avoid the cascade of negative health effects that happens when they lose muscle over the years,” he says.
Skeptical at First
Solon MSF owners Tim and Megan Dardis say that as lifelong fitness enthusiasts, when the opportunity arose to open a studio like this, they jumped on it.
“We’ve both grown up in the area and felt connected to Jeff’s mission and values to lift others up and transform lives through training,” says Tim. “Megan and I have cycled through different workout styles and found some to be rigorous to the point of dangerous. The protocol here is safe and beneficial.”
Meet Fred Hadad
“How much is your wellness worth to you?”
This is a question Fred asked himself back in 2018 when he joined MaxStrength Fitness.
“I felt that heading into my 70s, I had lost muscle tone and was slowing down,” says Fred, who works seven days a week as a contractor. “There are several different pieces of exercise equipment in my basement, I just never felt like using them,” he says. “I’m diabetic and understand that can cause more health complications as you age.”
He says he loves the workouts and his trainers, Staci and Emma, who manage his sessions, always perfecting his form and encouraging him to do more. Over the years, he’s been bothered by knee and shoulder pain, and the professionals are adept at working around that, while pinpointing the supporting muscles to avoid future pain.
“The exercises are challenging, and I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I’m finished,” he says. “I’ve seen my diabetes numbers improve, have built muscle, and feel like I’m in the best shape of my life. My kids and grandkids live in town, so it’s nice to spend active time with them.”
