Life-changing fitness at MaxStrength Fitness Solon

Life-changing fitness, just twice a week? Yes!

The efficient—and effective—training protocol represented by MaxStrength Fitness is now available in Solon. Find out how two workouts, twice weekly, can dramatically change your life. Solon’s newest boutique training studio—MaxStrength Fitness—is ushering in a novel approach to strength training that’s been wildly successful in other studios throughout Cleveland over the past 20 years.

“We’re thrilled to see the excitement opening our eighth studio has generated and happy to have welcomed many new clients already,” says Founder Jeff Tomaszewski.

If you ask anyone who has trained at MSF what makes it different from other studios, they’ll tell you it’s everything.

“Unlike other places, we don’t want our members spending their lives in a gym,” he explains. “We’ve developed an intense, science-backed program that calls for only two 20-minute workouts per week. Another game-changer in the time-management department is we keep studio temps in the pleasantly chilly zone, so clients enjoy sweat-free workouts. They can pop in on their lunch hour or mornings and then go directly to work or wherever without needing a shower.”

The equipment is also like nothing you’ll find in other places. MSF’s Continuous Tension Protocol utilizes high-intensity, low-force strength training done on Imagine Strength equipment that’s precise, results-driven and safety-oriented.

“We are the perfect fit for busy people who want to age healthy and avoid the cascade of negative health effects that happens when they lose muscle over the years,” he says.

Not surprisingly, members at MaxStrength tend to stay for years.

Skeptical at First

Solon MSF owners Tim and Megan Dardis say that as lifelong fitness enthusiasts, when the opportunity arose to open a MaxStrength studio, they jumped on it.

“We’ve both grown up in the area and felt connected to Jeff’s mission and values to lift others up and transform lives through training,” says Tim. “Megan and I have done different workout styles and found some to be rigorous to the point of dangerous. The protocol here is safe and beneficial. When I was recovering after shoulder surgery, these low-impact, high-intensity workouts made a big difference.”

Megan says that when she first heard about the two sessions per week schedule, she was skeptical about the results—then she tried it for herself.

“Every move is targeted to produce a result,” she says. “It’s very efficient. And the reasoning behind only two days a week is to allow your muscles time to rebuild properly.”

As a D1 soccer player for Cleveland State University, where she studied exercise physiology, Studio Manager Marina Borden learned about the rigors of constant training.

“This protocol stood out to me as an excellent fit for people who might feel intimidated by working out in a gym,” she says. “The aging population is coming to realize the connection between muscle health, bone health, and staying fit while aging, being able to enjoy all the functions of daily living.”

Meet Fred Hadad

“How much is your wellness worth to you?”

This is a question Fred asked himself back in 2018 when he joined MaxStrength Fitness in Willoughby.

“I felt that heading into my 70s, I had lost muscle tone and was slowing down,” says Fred, who works seven days a week as a contractor. “I have several different pieces of exercise equipment in my basement, but just never felt like using them. I’m diabetic and understand that can cause more health implications as you age.”

He says he loves the workouts and the trainers, who manage his sessions, always perfecting his form and encouraging him to do more. Over the years, he’s been bothered by knee and shoulder pain, and the professionals are adept at working around that while pinpointing the supporting muscles to avoid future pain.

“The exercises are challenging, and I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I’m finished,” he says. “I’ve seen my diabetes numbers improve, have built muscle, and feel like I’m in the best shape of my life. My kids and grandkids live in town, so it’s nice to spend active time with them.”

Coincidentally, Fred’s company was hired by Tim and Megan to do the construction on the 2,000-square-foot studio.

“I enjoyed bringing the clean, modern design to life,” he says. “The LED light fixtures are beautiful, especially on the accent wall of 3D blue waves.”

MaxStrength Fitness is located at the corner of a white brick shopping plaza at 33705 Station Street, just off Route 91, in Solon. The studio opens on August 25, 2025 with a grand opening celebration in October. Call 440-692-2345 or visit MaxStrengthFitness.com for more information.
