A passion for luxury fashion

For those who crave luxury—without the luxury price tag.

Westlake’s newest ladies’ boutique is aptly named Local Revue, as it offers an elevated shopping experience that feels a bit like a show.

“Everything is displayed more artistically in our store and we make shopping fun,” says owner Denise Betz Toil. “It is warm and inviting—not overwhelming. You don’t have to hunt through racks of clothing. Instead, we offer a select assortment of women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories in all sizes, creatively displayed so it’s easy to find something that speaks to you.

“We can host private after-hours parties, where a group of friends can bring in wine and appetizers and have the entire store to themselves and enjoy a personalized styling session. Think girls’ night out meets mini fashion show.”

From gold chairs with bow-shaped backs to beautifully framed mirrors everywhere, the boutique radiates charm. Vintage jewelry sparkles in displays. A Louis Vuitton handbag mingles with other leather beauties. A pink jacket is perfectly paired with a white shirt and blue jeans. Only a glance at the price tags reveals the best surprise of all: Everything is available for a fraction of regular retail prices.

Approachable Luxury Brands

Intentionally curated for both adults and teens, the ladies’ apparel and accessories blend timeless classics with playful finds. Shoppers can spot a Prada black tote or a Burberry babydoll sleeveless top alongside a Lilly Pulitzer fuchsia halter dress and Ralph Lauren teal paisley silk maxi. Plus, there are brand-new bathing suits acquired from a Beachwood retailer that recently closed, offering shoppers exceptional deals.

The focus here? Accessible luxury.

“We carry luxury brands like Alexander McQueen, Golden Goose, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Rag & Bone, Theory and Veronica Beard,” Denise says. “We also stock sought-after brands like Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Coach and UNOde50 silver jewelry.”

Whether refreshing a summer wardrobe or searching for a vintage gem, there’s always something new to discover.

A Passion for Fashion

After years working at Ernst & Young and raising two children with her husband, Denise returned to her lifelong love of fashion. Her retail experience in high school and college, paired with an art history degree from Kent State University, laid the groundwork that blends smart business sense with fashion-forward style.

Originally opened in Bay Village in 2024, Local Revue moved this year into a larger space at Williamsburg Square Shopping Plaza in Westlake to accommodate its growing clientele and expanding inventory.

Adding even more creative energy are two Kent State University interns—Gavin, a fashion design major, and Sarah, a fashion merchandising major.

“These employees are passionate about the fashion industry and bring an artistic eye that helps customers put together looks,” Denise says. “It’s a win-win, as I provide students hands-on business experience and they help elevate the shopping experience for our customers.”

Shop from 2,000 Stylish Items

The store provides only a glimpse of Local Revue’s inventory. Nearly 2,000 additional items are available at LocalRevue.com, with new inventory added almost daily.

“If something catches your eye online, just call ahead and we’ll pull it from our warehouse so you can see it, feel it and try it on,” Denise says.

For private, after-hours parties, ladies are encouraged to select five to seven items online that they like. When they arrive, their picks are waiting for them to try on for their own mini fashion show, during which their friends help them pick their favorites.

Regular store hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. After-hours parties are scheduled in the evenings.

“We are so grateful for the support of our local community,” Denise says. “Customers love shopping our curated styles and eco-chic looks for less.”
