Save thousands

Go with SOGO and save thousands on real estate commissions while helping others.

Aaron Peterson, founder of SOGO Homes, helps sellers save thousands on real estate commissions.

At SOGO Homes, homeowners are profiting more from the sale of their home while helping to make a lasting impact on the community. It’s a win-win for everyone.

“Our mission is to bring positive change, one home at a time,” says Aaron Peterson, founder of SOGO Homes. “When you choose SOGO Homes to sell your property or assist you in finding your dream home, you are not only making a significant move for yourself, but you are also helping those in need realize their dream of home ownership.”

SOGO Homes—which stands for Sell One, Give One—is based on the innovative business model that for every house the company sells or buyer it helps find a home, it will donate a portion of the commission.

“SOGO Homes is driven not by dollars and market share, but by impact,” Aaron says, who volunteers every Tuesday evening at a local nonprofit that offers equine therapy, and once a month serving coffee and donuts at The Chapel in Green. “We want to make a positive impact in Northeast Ohio, so every time someone sells or buys a home with us, a portion of our proceeds will be gifted to a single mother in need as a down payment toward home ownership.”

Homeowners also benefit greatly when listing with this new real estate brokerage by saving money with the company’s flat-fee rate. Instead of paying a percentage of the sale in commission, SOGO Homes has a $4,800 flat fee that includes everything from helping homeowners set the most attractive listing price to photography to marketing to negotiating the final deal. With this upfront, flat-fee commission structure, there are no hidden costs and the process is transparent.

“We have been saving homeowners on average $8,000 in commission fees, and sometimes a lot more,” Aaron says. “We just sold a house on Portage Lakes, and the homeowners saved $39,000 in real estate commissions.”

“The best part is, while you are saving money, you are also helping others,” he adds.
