Over the years, the trio has curated an impressive collection of cutting-edge devices, including the exciting addition of XERF, a next-generation, noninvasive treatment designed to deliver powerful skin tightening and rejuvenation with no downtime. Their advanced technology portfolio—now featuring six specialized platforms—addresses a wide range of concerns, from pigmentation and skin resurfacing to hair and tattoo removal.
“The consultation is an important part of the process,” says Nurse Melissa. “We get to know what each patient is seeing in the mirror, and together we personalize a plan with tailored, results-driven solutions to meet their goals.
In addition to laser work, the menu of esthetic services ranges from microneedling with and without PRP, dermaplaning, hydrafacials and European facials, along with a full range of injectables and dermal fillers.
“All of our treatments are geared toward enhancing natural beauty, not altering it,” says Betsy. “We want to help clients look like themselves, only younger and more revitalized.”

“One of our most popular products is a signature facial oil we cultivated that’s loaded with good-for-you organic nutrients like jojoba, marula, grapeseed and Madagascar vanilla,” says Melissa. “It smells heavenly and nourishes every skin type.”
Fat Loss, Weight Loss, Wellness
For body contouring, non-invasive solutions such as CoolSculpting remain a cornerstone, helping to sculpt stubborn pockets of fat from areas like the abdomen, “love handles,” arms and thighs. Dr. Jim explains that this treatment isn’t designed as a weight-loss solution, but rather a super targeted refined tool to remove fat from trouble spots that don’t respond to diet and exercise.
A holistic mindset also pervades the wellness services here.
“Our comprehensive, medically supervised weight-loss program incorporates GLP-1 medications in both branded and compounded formulas, and personalized care, including blood work, coaching and ongoing support,” says Betsy. “Our patients mean the world to us, so we spend a lot of time with them to help them lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way they can maintain the rest of their lives.”

What's a Xerf?
Named Kim Kardashian’s “favorite new skin treatment” of 2026, Xerf (pronounced “zurf”) has made its splash in Cleveland.
The FDA-approved, non-invasive skin-tightening treatment is breakthrough because it taps into dual-frequency monopolar radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin deep within the dermal layer of tissue, improving laxity, sagging and defining the jawline. It can also produce tightening on the arms and stomach. Results generally appear immediately and then over three to six months and can last up to one to two years.
“We only introduce new techniques after we’ve tried them for ourselves,” says NorthCoast Laser MedSpa co-owner Betsy Miranda. “While at a medical conference in Miami, I got Xerfed and saw a significant difference. My cheekbones and jawline were more chiseled. It’s a bit of a miracle to produce an immediate lift without any pain or downtime. There are no needles or numbing, we just smooth ultrasound gel over the face and glide the handheld device that delivers the radiofrequency. Patients find it relaxing.
