Bathroom experts

Instead of trying to do all the things, Fast Bath Solutions does one thing really well—and every budget or dream bathroom idea is catered to.

A showroom features three walk-in shower displays alongside a glass coffee table and orange seating on a wood-look floor.

According to the JLCOnline.com Cost vs. Value Report, a bathroom renovation can net you an ROI of 67%, second only to kitchen remodeling when it comes to interior home renovation. While this makes sense for those thinking about selling their home, nothing stops a potential buyer in their tracks like pink-and-black tile. The folks at Fast Bath Solutions hope you’ll dream a little bigger and opt for a luxurious bathroom transformation that’s just for you.

“Thanks to advancements in solid surface materials made here in Ohio, we can bring the look of fine marble, granite and other natural stone tile to affordable shower and tub replacements and tub-to-shower conversions,” says Rich Hoskins, who wears the hats of owner and operator well, thanks to decades of experience in the industry. “We run the gamut from one-day installations to full-scale floor-to-ceiling bathroom renovations, moving walls if needed and doing whatever it takes to bring a dream bathroom to life,” he says.

Director of Sales Scott Nelson explains they have a saying that “whatever other companies won’t do—we will.”

“There are lots of reasons people recommend us after a job,” he adds. “We hire our own local, seasoned installers. No subcontractors here. And they like the accountability of knowing the person who sells them the job shows up at the job and follows through at the end of the job.”

Luxurious Looks

The company’s gorgeous showroom features 15 full-size shower models that represent styles to suit any taste—classic, contemporary, modern, rustic.

While giving a tour of the models, Rich points out one of the most popular designs incorporates a bold stripe of black, marble-look material in the center surrounded by a white marble surface. Black matte fixtures create a stark aesthetic. Sleek aluminum showers and rain shower heads are trending, too.

Kailee Terry, who heads up administration for the company, says they also offer acrylic shower replacements with a selection of fashionable colors for those who are budget-sensitive.

Rich and his staff enjoy working with Samuel Mueller shower systems and are one of the few in Ohio to feature all seven of its lines, which are extremely durable and easy to clean.

One of the most popular selections is called Butterscotch and mimics multidimensional natural travertine stone with warm, earthy shades.

“Other bells and whistles we customize to the homeowner include niches, corner baskets and shampoo racks that do double duty as grab bars,” he says.

Experts at Aging in Place

Speaking of grab bars, the bath installers are seasoned when it comes to accessibility solutions for people who want to age in place, such as installing zero-threshold showers and ADA-compliant walk-in tubs.

“Most shower systems come with fold-up shower seats, which people love,” says Rich.

Whatever the design, the team says most of its customers are ditching their tubs in favor of bigger showers.

“We had a client who didn’t want a tub, but had a granddaughter who visited, so we helped her find the solution of a blow-up inflatable tub to pop in their shower,” says Kailee.

Fast Bath Solutions likes to take its show on the road. You’ll find the team showcasing full-size display vignettes of showers and tubs at booths at local home improvement shows, like the Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo, Friday-Sunday, March 20-22, at the IX Center, and the Summit County Home Expo at the Summit County Fairgrounds, Friday-Sunday, April 17-19.
