Return to glory

Your car took a beating this winter. It’s time to let Next Level Auto Detailing return it to its pre-season glory.

Since opening his high-end, climate-controlled Next Level Auto Detailing shop in 2009, Shawn Medina has earned a reputation for meticulous results on the more than 5,000 cars he’s transformed.

This winter was a beast, one of the coldest and snowiest Northeast Ohio has seen in years. While it made leaving your home or going anywhere a frigid nightmare, it also took a toll on your car.

More snow and ice mean more road salt, which can do a number on your car’s exterior, corroding the surface, dulling your paint job and causing chips and scratches.

Not surprisingly, March and April are two of the busiest months of the year for Shawn Medina of Next Level Auto Detailing in Broadview Heights. He calls early spring “restoration season.” Since opening his high-end, climate-controlled detailing shop in 2009, Shawn has earned a reputation for meticulous results on the more than 5,000 cars he’s transformed.

“As soon as we see those first few sunny days, people want to return their cars to their pre-winter glory,” he says. “Spring is a time for renewal, and everyone wants their cars to look shiny and new again, whether it’s their daily drive, vintage roadster or luxury ride.”

Professional-Level Restoration, Protection

Shawn has spent most of his career working with advanced precision equipment and commercial-grade products to restore a mirror-like factory finish to every car, as well as protect it from future damage.

Specialties include detailing, restoration, high-tech systems of paint correction (machine polishing) and ceramic coatings.

“To protect a car against damage from road debris and rock chips, I offer Aquatek Ceramic Coatings and STEK PPF paint protection film that creates a durable barrier,” he says. “PPF is like an invisible armor over a vehicle’s surface, leaving behind a glossy, showroom-quality finish that’s deeply reflective. No need to worry about waxing your car after it gets a coating like this.”

For car windows, he also offers Aquatek Clarity to deliver hydrophobic qualities that make water bead and roll off the glass. This significantly improves visibility during rain or snow, lessens wiper chatter and repels bugs and bird droppings.

Shawn notes his restoration schedule for March and April is already filling up, so make your appointment soon.

Buy and Sell with The Bros

Since Shawn is so involved in the local car community, it was a natural for him to become a trusted resource for those looking to buy or sell their cars. Responding to the demand, he and his brother Joey founded a sister company to Next Level called Vehicle Brothers of Ohio to streamline and simplify the buying and selling process.

“If you want to sell your car quickly and for a good price—without the hassle of working with dealership negotiations or private sales situations—all you have to do is go to our site, type in your car’s year, make, model and VIN number and we’ll get right back to you with a fair offer,” says Shawn.

The brothers have access to a broad pool of inventory and clients trust that they know the real value of any car.

This time of year, with people getting tax refunds back, Shawn reports they have demand from people who want to buy a dependable, yet affordable, first car for their child, maybe something like a Honda Accord.

“Since we both share a love of cars, our goal is to tap into that and make the experience, from beginning to end, transparent, simple, stress-free and fun,” he says.
