It only looks like you paid a fortune for those cabinets.

Kitchen and bath renovations are popular ways to upgrade a home and create more functional and stylish spaces. But beyond the kitchen and bathroom, a well-designed cabinet layout can reimagine just about any room in a home.

If you’re not familiar with Choice Cabinet, you’re about to find out why this local, cabinet wholesaler (and now Design Center) should be your first stop before any renovation project begins.

Quality Choice

With cabinets almost always the biggest- ticket item in any renovation, Choice Cabinet offers budget-friendly solid-wood cabinets available in several designs and endless colors and configurations to match virtually any style, space and budget.

Founder Tony Laurinaitis along with his wife Dottie, a custom kitchen designer, had the idea to provide all-wood cabinets and manufacture the cabinets themselves, cutting out the middleman, allowing Choice Cabinet to offer its quality products for a fraction of the price other places charge.

“We stock, assemble and modify our cabinets here in Solon, so no one is waiting months for cabinets,” retail sales supervisor Claudine DiSanto says. “Most orders are filled in two to three weeks.”

Design Center Difference

The new Design Center in Warrensville Heights is a dream come true for everyone at Choice Cabinet, but especially Claudine.

“I was thrilled to have a place to show off what we can do for our customers,” Claudine says. “In every vignette, customers will find designs we’ve brought to life in people’s homes as examples of what we can do in theirs.”

Kitchens and bathrooms have cabinets, of course, but have you thought about cabinetry in your playroom, mudroom, dining room and closets? Even the foyer and media room can be designed using solid wood cabinets.

“We can take our stock cabinetry and design for just about any application in the home,” Claudine says. “You don’t need to pay the exorbitant price of fully custom cabinetry for your media room or that awkward-shaped mudroom to store the kids’ gear. All our stock cabinetry is solid wood, soft-close, dovetail construction made to last. Our stock cabinets paired with a Choice Cabinet designer who listens carefully to your wants and needs means every design is tailored to the customer.”

People often come to Choice Cabinet with Pinterest boards or photos and ask, “Can you create this for my home?”

“The answer is almost always yes,” Claudine says. “That’s the benefit of working with a great designer and creative contractor, who, by the way, we can recommend if you’re not already working with one.”

Beyond cabinets, Choice Cabinet offers countertops and hardware to finish the look of any design.

“We’re not a one-stop shop because we chose not to be but we are pretty close,” Claudine says. “We focus on cabinets, countertops and hardware exclusively to be efficient and keep our costs low.”

Cabinetry Trends

Trends can come and go, but with cabinetry being a large part of a renovation budget, no one wants to make a mistake by following a trend that’s quickly outdated.

“We carry ten different cabinet door styles that are continually updated as we closely monitor trends,” Claudine says. “There’s something for everyone. You have the freedom to combine different styles to make the finished look unique to your style, without going fully custom. It’s a huge cost savings.”

Do you dream of an organized home? Choice Cabinet partners with Rev-a-Shelf for cabinet interiors that will help you get and stay organized. Rev-a-shelf makes high-quality organizers like, utensil inserts, pantry organizers, spice racks, mixer lifts and much more.

“With Rev-A-Shelf, we can make your cabinetry function in a way that works best for you,” Claudine says. “Rev-A-Shelf products take your cabinets to a new level, adding value and time-saving convenience.”

Claudine says things like floating entry tables in the foyer, cabinetry that looks built-in for family rooms, offices and dens, kitchen islands with drawers and open shelving for microwaves with space for a wine fridge are examples of how Choice Cabinet can create functional living spaces for any family.

Modifications to dimensions and functionality of stock cabinets offer customization options that ensure the cabinets fit each customer’s space perfectly. It’s one more thing that sets Choice Cabinet apart.

“How can we help you create quality, functional spaces that work for your family while saving you money? We answer that question every day at Choice Cabinet,” Claudine says.

Choice Cabinet is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to

7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
