Stewart’s family values
Since 1946, Stewart’s TV & Appliance has become synonymous with values.

It’s not just the deals on grills and appliances happening now at Stewart’s TV & Appliance. It’s also the family values the team has become known for that continue to draw customers from near and far.
Back in 1946, Dick Stewart was living in his parents’ basement on Marseilles Avenue in Elyria, tinkering with RCA tube testers and fixing radios. When he realized his dream of opening a 30-by-30-foot brick building in town, customers came to know Stewart’s TV and Appliance as the best place to buy appliances from knowledgeable people who took pride in taking good care of every customer.
Today, that humble operation has grown into a sprawling, two-story mega appliance store, yet the heart of the business remains the same.
“If Dad could see us now, he’d probably be pleasantly surprised and proud,” say his children, Ed, Pam and Nancy. “The values he believed in are still here, we’ve just evolved with the times.”
With Ed’s son Kevin—a third-generation family member—working at the store in sales, the future at Stewart’s continues to look good.
What’s Trending in Appliances?
A quick walk around Stewarts’s and you’ll notice the newer models are sporting leading-edge innovations to revitalize the way you live.
Pam reports that Frigidaire is leading the charge with its new must-have ovens that do double duty as pizza ovens, delivering restaurant-quality results by reaching temperatures above 750 degrees.
“This kind of heat transforms homemade pizza into crispy, bubbly perfection in just minutes,” she says. A feature of this model, and many others, is they come loaded with air fry, convection and specialty cooking modes, which makes them the ultimate multitaskers for today’s kitchens.
Another trend you’ll see on display is the comeback of color.
“People are asking for color in their kitchens again,” says Pam, who notes one of the hottest new shades, called Juniper from KitchenAid, is a moody, dark forest green with a touch of deep blue and subtle metallic flake.

Laundry, Reinvented
One of the fastest-growing departments at Stewart’s is washers and dryers.
“Space-saving wash towers are big right now,” says Ed. “New tower units from brands like LG and Electrolux combine sleek design with serious speed. Flip-door functionality, faster wash cycles and dry times (as quick as 15 minutes) are redefining convenience. Busy moms and families will no longer have to wait for a load to finish.”
Another booming trend in this category is all-in-one washer and dryer combos, which offer fast cycles while eliminating the chore of transferring wet clothes from washer to dryer.
Delivery of appliances is free, and Stewart’s service technicians will haul away your previous freestanding appliances. Stewart’s is currently hiring for all positions. Enjoy good pay and opportunity for advancement.

Grilling Innovation
One of the grills you can get a great deal on during the Fourth of July Sale at Stewart’s is the new Genesis E-430 LP Stealth model from Weber. Aptly named, it features a stunning and sleek, matte-black design that adds distinction to any outdoor décor aesthetic. According to Ed Stewart, it brings as much heat as it does style, with an extra-large sear zone powered by a 50% hotter burner to produce bold, flavorful sears on grilled fare.
“It also includes a Weber Crafted Frame Kit, which allows you to add a pizza stone, griddle, wok, rotisserie or other grillware,” Ed says. “For cooks who crave culinary adventure and versatility, this is the perfect grill.”
Priced at $1,499, it’s an absolute steal in the premium grill category.
