Clean, Cover, Replace

Mitch Allen • June 12, 2026

Before you experience an overflow that could cause a wet basement, let The Gutter Boys clean, cover, or replace your gutters now.

A stack of books sits on a wooden table, next to a lit candle and a warm cup of coffee or tea.

About 70% of The Gutter Boys’ gutter guard installations involve removing a competitor’s failed system. But these guards have a transferable lifetime warranty.

Many people don’t think about their gutters until they see them overflowing. That means right now is a busy time for The Gutter Boys. Summer downpours are here at last, and the phones are ringing with frantic homeowners smart enough not to climb a ladder themselves.

“It’s best to take care of your gutters on your own terms when there’s no emergency,” explains company founder Anthony Alberino. “We can clean, cover, or replace your gutters. The choice is yours.”

Clean Your Gutters

If you want your gutters cleaned, consider signing up for The Gutter Boys’ subscription gutter-cleaning service. “Our customers love it because it’s a set-it-and-forget-it program. We come out and clean your gutters whenever they need it,” Anthony says. “Most people choose two to four cleanings a year. It often depends on how many trees are nearby. We can also do one-time cleanings.”

Cover Your Gutters

If you want to skip gutter cleaning altogether, you can cover your gutters with the company’s top-rated guards. “Our gutter guards aren’t plastic,” Anthony says. “They feature a stainless-steel micro-mesh that lets water in while keeping debris out.”

The system features a patented raised S-curve that encourages the self-shedding of leaves and other debris.

Replace Your Gutters with 6-Inch Gutters

If your gutters are damaged or undersized for your home, replacing them entirely may be the best solution. For the average home in Northeast Ohio, standard 5-inch gutters can handle water flow just fine. However, for today’s larger homes with steeper roofs or greater square footage, 6-inch gutters are recommended. “That extra inch of width may not sound like much, but a 6-inch gutter can hold about 50% more water than a standard 5-inch gutter,” Anthony explains. “Plus, the downspouts are 3 by 4 inches instead of 2 by 3inches. Give us a call, and we can calculate whether a 6-inch gutter system is right for your home.”

The Gutter Boys is headquartered at 1090 West Bagley Road in Berea and serves all of Northeast Ohio. Call 440-454-7040 or visit TheGutterBoys.com for a free quote. If you choose to cover your gutters, the company offers 18-months same-as-cash financing.
