Gardens of Western Reserve was created with the understanding that home is best when it comes to eldercare. “Families often question when to start with help, introducing care to a loved one and the hospice process,” Hanna says. “We provide answers, whether you’re ready for services now or use us when the time comes.”
Here are a few common hospice questions that can help:
Q: Do I have to send my loved one to a hospice facility when they are ready for hospice care?
A: No. At Gardens of Western Reserve, we bring hospice services to wherever the patient calls home, whether that’s a residential home, independent living, skilled nursing facility or assisted living. Our services help the patient stay in familiar surroundings longer.
Q: Is hospice care expensive?
A: Hospice is completely covered under Medicare, Medicaid and most insurances. This can include medications, supplies, equipment and visits from healthcare professionals.
Q: Is hospice care just for the very end of life?
A: No. Our mission is to facilitate compassionate, dignified and personalized quality resources and benefits that empower our patients to live meaningful, peaceful and comfortable lives for the duration of our services.
