Your flooring journey
Here is the professional, step-by-step journey you’ll take at
MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios to ensure you absolutely love your floor.

The flooring journey at MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios includes exploring the showroom, using the digital “Room Visualizer” to picture flooring options in your own space and taking home samples to view in your unique lighting.
Purchasing new flooring is not something we do every day. Styles change, so do materials and installation methods. The flooring you bought a few years ago may be nothing like the flooring you need today.
This is why it’s important to find a professional company you can trust—one that listens, offers smart choices and design options within your budget, and backs up its work with a solid guarantee.
One company offering all that and more is MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios. The company’s “Adore Your Floor” guarantee is simple: “If you don’t love your floor, we’ll replace it for free. No questions asked.”
One reason MDG can offer such a generous guarantee is the thoughtful process its customers go through—from initial contact through installation.
“We call our process ‘The Customer Journey,’” says President Steve Walbolt. “Once a customer goes through it, they become highly knowledgeable and confident in their selection. They already know—and so do we—that they’re going to love their new floor.”
Getting Started
Your journey begins with your initial contact. You can visit one of the store’s three locations, schedule an appointment or an in-home measurement online or by phone, or visit the website and explore your options in the “Room Visualizer” by simply uploading a photo of your space.
“Our process always starts with a conversation, and the best place for that conversation is in our showroom, but that’s up to you,” explains Director of Marketing Christina Walbolt. “You can use the Room Visualizer in our showroom or online. We updated it recently to include more products—kitchen, bath, tile, countertops and, of course, flooring.”
Getting to Know You
When you visit the showroom, an experienced team member will walk you through everything. They’ll ask about the room you’re redoing and whether it’s on a slab or a wood subfloor. They’ll ask about your lifestyle and whether you have kids or pets.
“The answers to these kinds of questions help us guide customers to the products that will serve them best,” Steve says. “Durability is often important, and our products have warranties that range from 15 years to lifetime, depending on your needs.”
Take-Home Samples
Your MDG team member will also help you discover your color palette, and you’ll be able to take home samples the same day you come in.
“Taking samples home is important because flooring, tile and countertops can look different in different lighting,” Christina says. “It’s best to see them in your own home with your furniture and lighting.”
In-Home Measurement and Proposal
Once you’ve made your selection, your in-home measurement comes next.
“For a proper installation, we can’t rely on estimates,” Steve says. “A room may be 20-by-20 (feet), but is it exactly 20-by-20? Does it have a closet, an alcove, stairs or another feature to consider? We take care of calculating all that.”
Once your measurement is complete, you’ll receive a straightforward proposal via email or text.
“Click the link and you’ll see all the details—simple and easy to understand,” Christina says. “You can even request multiple quotes. Maybe you want to see a budget-friendly carpet quote for an upstairs bedroom in addition to a hard-surface option.”
Installation
After you approve your proposal, the MDG team orders your materials then works with you to schedule installation.
“We also walk you through the installation process,” Steve adds. “You’ll know exactly who is coming to your home, when they’re coming, and how long they’ll be there. Our installation teams undergo extensive continuous training. After installation, an installer will do a final walk-through with you to ensure you love your floor.”
