The proper dietary mix
The proper mix can reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and build and maintain muscle mass.

Higher Heights Fitness suggests strategies for getting protein from meat, poultry, dairy and eggs.
"Calories in, calories out."
To achieve your peak level of fitness, we help clients dive deeper than this outdated adage. We look beyond calorie counts and assess the ratio of macronutrients—proteins, carbohydrates and fats—in their diets.
The proper mix can reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and build and maintain muscle mass.
Through our Nutrition Program, we do an InBody scan every week to determine each client’s basal metabolic rate, weight and body fat, then tailor dietary suggestions to the results.
People see carbs as the enemy, but they’re your body’s primary energy source, providing glucose that fuels the brain, nervous system and muscle. The best carb sources are fruits, grains and vegetables.
Fats have also earned a bad rap. Again, not the enemy. You just have to choose wisely. Healthy monounsaturated fats found in olive oil, avocados and nuts provide energy and help the body absorb vitamins like A, E, D and K.
Protein is a necessary building block for muscle mass, bone mass and skin. It helps you recover from workouts and maintain a healthy immune system. We suggest strategies for getting protein from meat, poultry, dairy and eggs.
The bottom line is: Everyone metabolizes food differently. Our program can pinpoint the diet that works best for you.
