An elevated flooring experience

Widely known for its curated selection of top-tier flooring, Monarch Carpet One has elevated its showroom experience to offer even more.

Beyond offering an enhanced in-store experience, Monarch Carpet One has long been a forward-facing presence in Brunswick—not just as a retailer, but the Monarch team members are also active supporters of local initiatives and charitable causes.

At Monarch Carpet One, stunning displays of tile, flooring and countertops don’t just catch the eye—they add to an unmistakable feeling that every detail in the revitalized showroom, from the curated selection to the thoughtful arrangement of products and personalized service, is crafted with the customer in mind.

Most customers know what they want—they just need a space that simplifies the selection process and gives them room to explore their options. That’s precisely what the Brunswick showroom set out to create.

Simply put, Monarch Carpet One upgraded the showroom by streamlining the shopping experience.

“When customers walk in, they’re amazed by how much easier it is to find exactly what they had in mind,” says John Heckman, a sales professional at Monarch Carpet One. “We’ve designed the showroom to reduce confusion and make the shopping experience smoother. Too many choices can be overwhelming, so we’ve curated collections that offer plenty of variety without the frustration. Now, products are grouped by category and color, making it easier for customers to compare similar styles and get a better sense of what will work in their spaces.”

But Monarch Carpet One didn’t just improve the layout, it also expanded its product selection, giving customers even more options to complete their home projects in one place. The showroom now features tile and custom showers, as well as new additions like countertops and a line of cabinets, complementing its extensive selection of carpeting, hardwood, luxury vinyl tile and plank, tile and laminate flooring.

Now more than ever, Monarch Carpet One is more than just a flooring store.

“We’ve grown beyond just flooring. We’re much more than carpet now,” John says. “We now offer quartz countertops, porcelain, ceramic tile and even cabinet refacing through our sister company, Affordable Cabinet Refacing.”

Beyond its expanded product selection, Monarch Carpet One also introduced digital tools to simplify the decision-making process for customers further.

“We redeveloped the website, and one of the biggest improvements is the addition of the room visualizer,” John explains. “Customers can upload a photo of their space and instantly see how different flooring, tile or countertop options will look in their home.”

The in-store version of the visualizer takes the experience even further. Customers can get a hands-on feel for a tile sample, scan it, and see how it would look in their bathroom or living space.

“It’s one thing to see a small sample, but it’s another to visualize how an entire room will look,” John says.

Beyond offering an enhanced in-store experience, Monarch Carpet One has long been a forward-facing presence in Brunswick—not just as a retailer but as an active supporter of local initiatives and charitable causes. The company regularly sponsors youth sports teams and participates in seasonal donation drives, including Toys for Tots and winter clothing collections for families in need.

“Every quarter, we partner with a different charitable organization,” John says. “Currently, we’re collecting hats, gloves and coats for families in Medina County, offering a discount on flooring in exchange for donations.”

Now, with a showroom designed around customer needs, that commitment is more visible than ever.

“We’ve always been about more than just flooring. We’re about serving the people who walk through our doors,” John says. “The new showroom embodies that. It’s a space where homeowners can feel comfortable, inspired and supported as they make their homes uniquely theirs—just as they envisioned.”
