A passion of connection

Caregivers who work for Seniors Helping Seniors get as much as they give. If connecting with others is how you thrive, we would love to have a conversation with you

Leaning into the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we’d like to focus on a different kind of connection: companionship.

Our caregivers think of their compassionate work as a vocation, a purpose, a mutually beneficial reason to wake up each morning. Many of our people have cared for their own parents in the past. They miss thriving in a fulfilling, relationship-driven environment where it feels rewarding to know they’re helping someone who’s around their age stay independent in the home they love.

The novel business model of Seniors Helping Seniors, matching senior caregivers to seniors who need companionship and help around the house, has taken off in Lake County and we’re in the position of having to keep up with increasing demand for the niche we fill. Our caregivers are dependable, trustworthy and say they receive as much as they give. There’s nothing like feeling needed and appreciated.

If this speaks to your heart, give us a call. Our caregivers enjoy part-time, flexible work schedules. We do an extensive evaluation when signing up clients to make sure they are matched with the right caregiver who shares commonalities. We’re looking for people who are compassionate and genuine, ready for friendship.

Non-medical home care services include companionship and socialization; meal preparation; light housekeeping; yard work; and pet care. Services also include safety and fall prevention, transportation for appointments, shopping and errands, and assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting and grooming.

Headquartered in Wickliffe, Seniors Helping Seniors serves seniors in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties. Visit SeniorCareNEO.com or call 440-494-8156 for more information. The minimum is two hours, twice per week, and overnight care is also available. The agency accepts veterans benefits, long-term care insurance and private pay.
