Suzy Beatrice of BHR Solutions helps clients navigate Medicare options and find a plan that meets their needs.

Turning 65 brings along with it the endless questions and added stress involved with Medicare decisions. What’s the enrollment process? Which plan is right for me? How do my medical and pharmaceutical needs affect my choices?

Suzy Beatrice, founder of BHR Solutions, started the company to help anyone facing these decisions by offering guidance, education and answers to these questions and more. If you’re turning 65, you can enroll in Medicare from three months before your birth month until three months after without penalty.

“As a federally managed healthcare benefit, Medicare comes with rules, regulations and deadlines,” says Suzy. “It can be overwhelming if you’re not already familiar with it. I have extensive experience with employee benefits from more than 30 years working in HR, including health care. I know how insurance works, and I’m happy to be sharing that knowledge with clients.”

A licensed insurance agent certified for Medicare, Suzy advises on enrollment rules, how to avoid penalties for not enrolling, offers guidance on choosing a plan, and works with clients already on Medicare and navigating changing benefits. Services are offered at no cost. Suzy is paid by the companies she represents.

Approaching Medicare eligibility, Jennifer H. began researching the enrollment process and available plans and found herself overwhelmed by the decisions.

“It quickly became clear that, with so many options and questions to consider, I needed the guidance of a knowledgeable professional I could trust,” says Jennifer.

Jennifer reached out to Suzy, who took the time to help her understand her medical needs and priorities regarding Medicare.

“Suzy answered my questions clearly, kept me informed of important enrollment deadlines, and presented several options tailored to my circumstances,” says Jennifer. “Her guidance made the decision-making process much easier and less overwhelming.”

And now, every year, Suzy helps Jennifer review her coverage as her needs and available Medicare plans change.

“She is knowledgeable, responsive and flexible, meeting with me both in-person and virtually,” says Jennifer. “I will continue to rely on Suzy’s guidance and confidently recommend her to my friends.”
