The space for memories

Impact Home Remodeling creates custom interior spaces to relax in, enjoy, and create meaningful memories.

Inspired by the way their own home brings family together, Joe and Kristen Chiera of Impact Home Remodeling help homeowners transform every room into a space made for comfort, connection and lasting memories.

No other time of the year is it more apparent that the kitchen is the heart of the home quite like the holidays. It’s where laughter echoes, recipes passed down through generation are brought to life, and where everyone inevitably—no matter how large the gathering—ends up.

For Joe and Kristen Chiera, co-owners of Impact Home Remodeling, these moments are deeply personal. Their family traditions center around the 10-foot kitchen island, where during the holidays the couple and their five children bake Christmas cookies, including their favorite Grinch cookie. That spirit of family connection inspires everything they do. Their mission is simple: to help other families create homes that foster that same kind of warmth, comfort and togetherness.

As a husband-and-wife team, Joe and Kristen bring a personal, hands-on approach to every remodeling project, guiding clients from the initial design consultation through to the final finishing touches.

“We put ourselves in our client’s space and picture living there as if it was our own house, keeping in mind both functionality and design,” Kristen says. “We offer both a male and female perspective, as well as a family focus.”

Whether a client dreams of a charming cottage kitchen or a sleek, contemporary space, Impact Home Remodeling makes the process seamless and collaborative.

“There are many design options we can show you or bring us your ideas and we will bring them to life,” Kristen says. “We can open up walls to give you a larger area to entertain by making the kitchen, dining room and family room one central area.”

From custom cabinetry to oversized islands to hidden pantries, today’s kitchen remodels are about more than just style. They’re about functionality.

Since 1997, Impact Home Remodeling has helped homeowners across Northeast Ohio turn their houses into dream homes. Their expertise extends beyond kitchens to spa-inspired bathrooms, finished basements and custom-built additions that suit families at every stage of life—from growing households to empty nesters.

“We can remodel any room in your house,” Joe says. “We build everything from a kitchen pantry and custom mudroom to a home office and gym.”

With vast experience in both home remodeling and landscaping, this local business offers something unique: a full-service approach that ties the inside and outside of your home together in harmony.

“We can take care of all things related to your home,” Joe says. “Whether you want to remodel your kitchen, transform your bathroom, finish your basement, build a patio, add a backyard pool or spruce up your landscaping, we can do it all.”

For the Chieras, remodeling is about more than construction. It’s about building spaces where families can gather, celebrate and make memories for years to come.

In With 2026

Known for its spa-like bathroom retreats, Impact Home Remodeling showcases its three top bathroom trends heading into 2026:

  1. Biophilic Design: It’s all about bringing nature indoors with woods, stones and other natural materials. Think organic textures and natural calming designs.
  2. Color Drenching: Bathrooms are moving away from stark white and embracing moody hues like deep green, navy and burgundy. For a dramatic effect, extend the same color tones from walls to floors—and even ceilings—for a fully immersive look.
  3. Seamless Surfaces: Wet room and curbless showers continue to gain popularity, featuring continuous flooring that allows the entire space to flow—and get wet—without interruption.
