The hidden home improvement

Streb Electric's whole house inspection assesses safety issues and ways you can save money on your electricity bill going forward.

Evaluating or upgrading your home's electrical system could be an invaluable home improvement undertaking.

In this season of home improvement shows, when we’re inspired by ways to improve the form and function of our spaces, it’s also the perfect time to focus on a less visible element—your home’s electrical system.

Evaluating or upgrading your system could be an invaluable home improvement undertaking.

Our whole house inspection assesses safety issues and ways you can save money on your electricity bill going forward.

Sometimes during DIY projects, homeowners will add lighting, appliances and electronics without realizing the strain they place on existing circuits. Over time this could overload breakers and lead to tripping and fire hazards.

A few red flags to watch for that may mean you need an inspection would be lights that flicker or don’t turn on immediately, as well as plugs that fall out of outlets.

No matter how old your home is, we recommend getting it inspected annually to stop something little from turning into something big.

An annual inspection is included as part of our Safety Savings Plan, which we introduced a couple years ago. Our customers have been getting the most bang for their buck with this private membership service club.

In addition to an across-the-board 15% savings on all products and services, we waive service fees for members, offer exclusive seasonal specials and complimentary preventive inspections. After the initial inspection, our techs go back to check on maintenance issues to make sure things aren’t deteriorating any faster than they should. At $16 per month, less than you’d pay to go to the movies, it’s a smart deal. Give us a call to sign up.

Streb Electric is headquartered in Willoughby and serves homes and businesses throughout Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga counties. Call 440-953-5819 or visit StrebElectric.com for more information.
