Spinal decompression for pain

One of the most common culprits we deal with is spinal stenosis, a degenerative condition where the spaces within the spine narrow, which places pressure on nerves.

With 80-degree days here at last, we’re seeing an uptick in patients battling back pain. Early summer brings out the inner weekend warrior in people who may not have been consistently active, then suddenly spend hours mulching, lifting and bending.

One of the most common culprits we deal with is spinal stenosis, a degenerative condition where the spaces within the spine narrow, which places pressure on nerves. It often worsens with age, but repetitive strain, like heavy yardwork, can trigger flare-ups. Similarly, a host of other conditions—like herniated discs—nerve impingement and sciatica— can cause sharp radiating pain from the lower back down through the legs.

The good news is the technology surrounding non invasive spinal decompression has come a long way. With our specialized equipment, we see positive outcomes in gently stretching the spine to relieve pressure. Restoring proper biomechanics helps the spine function as it’s supposed to, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the vertebrae.

If you’re feeling pain, don’t ignore it. The earlier you treat neck and hip issues, the better. Taking care of your spine can prevent a minor issue from becoming a major limitation later.

Spinal decompression relieves pain and gets people back to enjoying summertime activities, without medications or surgery.
