At Cleveland Furniture Bank Thrift Store in Parma Heights, people save big on home furnishings and more while supporting those in need.

Furniture, décor & more—all for a cause.

The newly relocated Cleveland Furniture Bank Thrift Store in Parma Heights offers a wide range of dining tables, sectionals, sofas, end tables, bar stools, home décor, clothing, shoes, boots, hats, toys, books, DVDs and CDs.

Not only is the store a fabulous shopping experience with discount pricing, but each purchase supports a worthy local charity.

Proceeds from the superstore fund the charitable mission of Cleveland Furniture Bank: providing furniture to organizations and home goods to families that are transitioning to homes.

“Each year we serve around 1,500 local families referred to us from 278 agencies and organizations,” says Founder and Executive Director Tom Gaghan. “A lot of the people we serve are disabled veterans, women who have escaped abusive relationships and people who have become unhoused due to flood or fire. Each client receives about 14 pieces of furniture from us, from a sofa and dining room table to beds, as well as kitchen items like pots and pans and dishes, anything needed to make a house a home.”

Since its inception in 2006, CFB has evolved to also offer a signature program—Beds for Kids.

“When we found out how great the need was, how many children in our city don’t have a bed to sleep on, we made it a mission to change that,” says Tom. “With help from financial donations and partnerships with local manufacturers, we have been able to give away 12,000 beds over the past 12 years.”

Tom says they are accepting furniture donations, clothing and home goods that are in good to excellent condition, and they’ll even come to your home to pick them up for a nominal fee. They also kindly accept cash donations.

“About 85% of our operating funds come from sales at the thrift store,” he says. “The rest we receive is from tax-deductible donations.”

Cleveland Furniture Bank is located at 6282 Pearl Road in Parma Heights. Call 216-459-2265, visit ClevelandFurnitureBank.org for more information and to donate.
