Safe and stylish baths

When one Wadsworth couple wanted to reimagine their shower so they could age in place, the only call they made was to Fast Bath Solutions

A dated bathroom gets a stylish, accessible makeover with a zero-threshold walk-in shower and modern finishes.

It tastes great atop a cone, or in your grandmother’s favorite sugar cookie recipe, but if you hear an interior designer say the word “vanilla,” it’s not good.

It’s a negative descriptive that signifies lack of character, a generic space without emotional resonance—the epitome of blah.

Such was the bathroom seen here in the before photo. This Wadsworth couple needed an overhaul reflecting both style and functionality.

“The Mrs. was getting ready to have surgery and we needed to get the job done quickly,” says Kailee Terry, who oversees the showroom at Fast Bath Solutions in Akron. “They needed to have access to a zero-threshold, walk-in shower, so we put a rush on the installation and had it completed in two weeks. Beyond the accessibility issue, we helped the couple make some beautiful choices, going from a boring white acrylic tub to a stunning marble-look shower from Samuel Mueller’s Monterey Collection in Butterscotch. This is our number one seller—and for good reason. These elegant, durable and sustainable large-format panels don’t need grout, so maintenance is a breeze.”

She says the shampoo shelf that does double duty as a grab bar, hand-held shower head, fold-up shower seat and custom-matched niche make the shower spacious and user-friendly. And the Denali barn-style door and linear drain add a modern edge.

One of the aspects the couple says they liked best about Fast Bath Solutions is the trust factor. There are no subcontractors and installers are personally trained by company owner/operator Rich Hoskins, who has decades of experience within the industry.

“Many of the jobs we do are because people want to stay in their homes and age in place,” adds Kailee. “Where form meets function, we can create stylish transformations. With the holidays nearing, we can do the renovations in time for the company coming.”

Fast Bath Solutions is located at 2503 Mogadore Road in Akron. Discounts are available for veterans and seniors. Call 330-840-3199 or visit FastBathSolutions.com for more information.
