The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce launches its first Holiday Elf Hunt to highlight local businesses and reward shoppers.

It’s easy to join and play this interactive game that guides players through shops, restaurants and service providers with a physical location.

Time to get your Kringle on, darlings. The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce is throwing a Holiday Elf Hunt to spread cheer and showcase its amazing lineup of businesses while giving you the chance to win big prizes just by shopping.

“This is the first time we are doing this and we’re so excited,” says Executive Director Lauren Small. “These small businesses are mostly family-run, mom and pop places where the owners share a real passion for what they’re doing. They are inspiring, the backbone of our community.”

It’s easy to join and play this interactive game that guides players through shops, restaurants and service providers with a physical location. After registering online, visit the businesses, find the stuffed elf along with a QR code sign to scan. Each scan earns a raffle entry, and uploading a selfie with the elf adds a bonus chance to win.

Look for participating businesses represented on the online map and by identifying them with the Holiday Elf Hunt decal in the window and scan the QR code to get started. The Hunt runs through Sunday, December 14, 2025, prize winners will be drawn on Tuesday, December 16 and will be notified and awarded on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

“Participants can track their progress on an online leaderboard to fire up the competition,” she says. “Prizes include raffle baskets with gift cards from Lakewood businesses. The Holiday Elf Hunt is a wonderful way to support and shop local this holiday season.”

One of the oldest chambers of commerce in the Cleveland area, the Lakewood Chamber was founded in 1911. Today its 300-plus members come from all walks, from solo entrepreneurs to restaurants, retail and service businesses and corporations.

Its mission is to advance the commercial, industrial and professional interests in the city of Lakewood through education opportunities, networking events, supporting business-friendly legislation, and offering cost-saving benefits to member businesses. As a member of the NOACC, LCC members enjoy access to group insurance plans, discounts on energy, shipping and much more.

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit 501(c)(6)organization headquartered at 16017 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood. Call 216-226-2900 or visit LakewoodChamber.org for more information and to start your Holiday Elf Hunt, which is sponsored by First Federal Lakewood and Mimi Magazine.
