Fall beauty reset

With the heat of summer starting to fade, it’s time for a fall beauty reset at Cory’s Hair Studio and Day Spa.

Cory’s Metal Hair Detox Treatment’s deep-cleansing service removes buildup from products, hard water and environmental stressors while restoring strength and shine.

Just as nature sheds its summer layers in the fall, your body craves the same reset. After months of sun, heat and humidity, your skin, hair and nails may be left feeling dry, dull and depleted. With intentional care, you can undo the damage of hot summer days and restore your natural glow.

That means rehydrating parched skin, conditioning sun-stressed hair and strengthening brittle nails.

“Fall, with its slower pace and cooler temperatures, is the perfect time to repair and detox your hair, skin and nails,” says Corinne Calabro, owner of Cory’s Hair Studio & Day Spa. “Everyone is craving a healthier lifestyle nowadays, from the increasing popularity of mocktails and more nutritional foods to exercising more and practicing mindfulness.”

At Cory’s, you’ll find everything you need to renew and refresh. Here’s how you can embrace the season of renewal with luxurious, detoxifying treatments.

Nails

One of the newest services on the menu at Cory’s is the Volcano Detox Pedicure. This treatment is more than just pampering. It’s a full reset for tired, overworked feet. Available in calming scents like lavender, jasmine and lemongrass, this pedicure begins with a soak in warm water with fizzing volcano crystals, creating a bubbling effect that detoxifies and softens the skin. Next comes an exfoliating sugar scrub, followed by a soothing cream mask and hydrating massage lotion. The treatment deeply moisturizes while helping to slough off dead skin and impurities.

As always, the final touch is your choice of polish from an endless color palette, so your feet look as good as they feel.

Skin

Fall is an ideal time to nourish and detoxify skin, and one of the most effective treatments for full-body renewal is the Moor Mud Body Wrap. Used for centuries for its therapeutic properties, moor mud is rich in minerals and organic substances that deeply cleanse, soothe and rejuvenate the skin.

At Cory’s, the treatment begins with a delicate massage oil application to prepare the skin. Then, the nutrient-rich mud is smoothed over the body and wrapped in a clear film to intensify its effects. The result? Skin that feels more supple, hydrated and firm.

Other detoxifying options include seaweed body wraps, which are equally effective in drawing out toxins while delivering a powerful dose of marine minerals.

Also on the menu is a Healing/Detox Facial, an ideal skincare treatment after summer sun exposure and changes in the climate leave skin dull and congested.

“Botanical extracts, peptides, chlorophyll and urea have detoxifying, soothing and hydrating benefits,” says esthetician Kathy Dyczko. “It restores skin’s protective barrier and accelerates recovery, leaving the skin balanced, calm and visibly restored.”

Hair

Sun, chlorine and saltwater can leave your hair dry, brittle and lacking luster. Fall is the ideal time to bring it back to life with Cory’s Metal Hair Detox Treatment. This deep-cleansing service removes buildup from products, hard water and environmental stressors while restoring strength and shine.

“Our Metal Detox Hair Treatments help color last longer, increase shine and improve hair health,” says master stylist Stephanie Kinsinger. “My clients always comment that the treatment sells itself as it offers a great benefit on color services.”

Cory’s Hair Studio & Day Spa is located at 7216 Pearl Road in Middleburg Heights. Open seven days a week, call 440-888-8864 for an appointment or visit CorysHairStudio.net.
