Chiropractic and traditional medicine
Patients are often surprised to learn that chiropractic care can complement traditional medicine, not compete with it.

People harbor a lot of misconceptions about what chiropractic care is. One of the most common ones is all we do is “crack backs.”
The treatment I provide is both an art and a science, one that plays a role in today’s increasingly integrated healthcare landscape.
Patients are often surprised to learn that chiropractic care can complement traditional medicine, not compete with it. No one has to choose between healthcare providers. I work closely every day with medical doctors and orthopedic surgeons.
The goal with each modality I practice is to restore proper function and motion. When joints are restricted, or tissues inflamed, that can limit mobility and impact overall well-being. The body is highly interconnected. Misalignment in one part can affect others.
Using a variety of advanced tools and equipment, I aim to reduce inflammation and support soft tissue recovery. After a thorough diagnosis, I make adjustments that relax muscles, realign joints and improve circulation to get blood flow and oxygen to the tissues to naturally stimulate healing.
A mantra I like to tell my patients is that healing is a process, not an event. I teach them stretching and strengthening movements they need to do at home to support the healing we’ve done in the office.
While medications can help patients manage their pain, I believe in pinpointing and addressing the underlying causes through holistic treatment. The goal is to have patients return to their daily activities stronger and healthier.
