Located in Chardon on a dairy farm established in 1874, our family is the sixth generation to work this farm. In 1982, we founded Mapledale Farm Landscape Supplies and transitioned the business to focus on professional landscape services—still using that same farmland to screen and blend topsoil and compost.
Over the past four decades, we’ve grown to be much more than just a landscape supply store and bulk material supplier. We offer mowing and lawn maintenance, landscape design and construction, landscape management, and commercial snow removal.
Growing up on the farm, we learned to respect the land and are passionate about reducing our impact on the environment. We are the only Class III compost facility in Geauga County, and we make our own bio-fuel and heat our buildings with waste oil. Plus, we use salt brine and ice melt made with an environmentally friendly mix of calcium magnesium acetate for snow removal.
