AI generated wills?
AI can be used for many good purposes, it’s not something it should never be used to create legal documentation.

Each day in the news, AI is making headlines. In my profession, attorneys across the country have been getting caught for using computer-generated tools to write their legal briefs, motions and documents.
There are even tools that have been designed specifically for lawyers to save the time it takes in legal document drafting.
The American Bar Association has responded by pointing out that lawyers who do this could “face potential risks of the unauthorized practice of law when using AI products.”
While I believe AI can be used for many good purposes, it’s not something I’d ever use to create legal documentation. For me, honesty and ethics are the pillars I’ve built my reputation on.
As a licensed legal practitioner, I personally draft every document to fit each client’s unique situation. For more than 20 years, my clients have put their trust in me and the peace of mind they get from working with me is not going to change.
Heading into the holidays, people are working a little less and have more time on their hands to consider bigger-picture things, like having their will drafted. It’s a busy time for estate planning.
Give me a call and in two half-hour meetings we can cross a will off your to-do list. All I need is a general idea of the worth of your assets and the contact information for those you appoint as executors and guardians. We can have it finished by the new year. It’s also a good time to review an existing will and see if it needs updates from life changes you may have had over the past year.
