Where finances take root

Karrie Simm-Financial Advisor, Raymond James & Associates • December 5, 2025

Raymond James & Associates’ Karrie Simm helps clients maximize money growth—no matter what their stage of life.

Coins stacked in the soil with small green plants growing from them next to a glass jar filled with coins.

An old investment adage that is ringing especially true today is, “Time in the market matters more than market timing.”

We deal with peoples’ emotions every day when it comes to the importance of leaving money in the market. There will always be ups and downs in this increasingly complex landscape. Discipline and staying the course is the best plan of action.

At Raymond James, our specialty is creating personalized plans for each client. Many people assume they need to reach a certain financial milestone before working with an adviser, but that isn’t true. We focus on meeting clients where they are and helping them build confidence and clarity around their goals. Whether someone is just beginning their financial journey or looking to refine a long-term strategy, we provide guidance tailored to each client’s unique situation.

The younger you are when you start the conversation about automating savings, the better your long-term outcome. We are passionate about educating clients at every stage about financial literacy. Clients benefit from working with us not only for retirement planning but also for important short-term goals, whether they’re building an emergency fund, paying down high-interest debt or preparing for a major life milestone such as buying their first home.

After spending most of my financial career in Los Angeles, where I went after graduating from Bowling Green State University, I was happy to return to my home state. When I got the call about the opportunity to work for Raymond James, it felt like a natural fit.

Years ago, when my mother-in-law was living on her own, her financial advisor was from Raymond James. She would do thoughtful and unexpected things for her like dropping off groceries and it resonated with me that his company’s culture was about service to the client. She was diabetic and not doing well and it meant a lot to my husband and I.

Along with my partner, Ryan Roche, and our client services team, our culture is built on putting each client’s financial goals first and delivering the full power of our resources to support them. This commitment to service, clarity and long-term partnership guides everything we do and inspires us to help clients feel confident at every stage of their financial journey.

Raymond James is located at 159 Crocker Park Blvd., Suite 390, in Crocker Park, Westlake. The international firm earned the 2025 JD Power Award for investor satisfaction. Call 216-292-9185 or visit cm.raymondjames.com/rocheprivatewealth for more information.
