At The Hair Specialists, highly trained hair restoration specialists help clients prevent and disguise hair loss while also regrowing hair.

If you are among the 80 million people suffering from hair loss, there is a hair restoration studio in Northeast Ohio that has made its mission to restore both hair and confidence.

Aptly named The Hair Specialists, their highly trained specialists help clients prevent and disguise hair loss while also regrowing hair.

“Whether your hair loss is genetic, hormonal, medical or stress-related, we help women, men and children,” says salon owner Kelly Nemitz. “We understand that losing your hair is scary, we help clients understand why they are losing their hair. Once we understand the why, we determine the best solution options for the client.”

That deep understanding starts from the top down. Hair loss is personal for Kelly, who struggled with thinning hair since birth. “During my teenage years, my hair was so thin that I weaved in hair extensions and it made me feel gorgeous,” she says. “From that moment, I knew I wanted to share that feeling with everyone who struggles with hair loss.”

Kelly founded her business 16 years ago and since has built a team of dedicated hair-loss experts with one shared goal: to help clients with hair loss feel happy and confident.

Prevent and Regrow Your Hair

Over the years, The Hair Specialists has continually added innovatition. Most recently, they added the Alma TED ultrasound machine, which stimulates hair growth and is especially effective for clients with genetic hair loss or rapid shedding.

“This medical-grade machine uses acoustic soundwaves and air pressure to create microchannels on the top layer of skin,” says Kelly, who is a certified accredited master by the American Hair Loss Council. “A serum filled with growth factors, amino acids and peptides is then applied on top of the scalp, allowing it to be easily absorbed.”

Clients typically receive four noninvasive treatments, one per month for four months, followed by a growth phase. If needed, booster treatments are available.

“Getting my hair done at The Hair Specialists has truly been life-changing,” says Sarah J. “I feel confident again and free to travel and be active without always worrying about my hair. Even including snorkeling and water skiing!”

While Alma TED is an in-salon treatment, the salon also offers medical grade red light therapy, where clients prevent and regrow their hair in the privacy of their own home.

“We take before-and-after photos and monitor progress while clients wear this specialized baseball cap at home for just six minutes a day,” Kelly says. “We have seen a 98-99% success rate in treating genetic hair loss with red light therapy.”

Because no two cases of hair loss are the same, every client begins with a thorough consultation.

“Kelly was honest from the beginning during my consultation and focused on helping me regrow my hair,” says Matt M., a hair restoration client. “Within six months, I saw much more regrowth than I expected. The progress photos showed clear improvement in areas where my hair was thinning. We considered other replacement options, but I am glad we took the regrowth approach.”

Disguising Hair Loss

For those who want to enhance their hairstyle or camouflage thinning hair, The Hair Specialists offers a range of solutions.

“For some clients, we can just cut and color their hair so it appears more voluminous, while others may opt for hair extensions, toppers or wigs,” Kelly says.

“Everything we do results in very natural-looking hair,” Kelly says. “Nowadays more men also are wearing hairpieces because they truly look and feel like their own hair.”

“Consultations are complimentary and our salon is very welcoming,” she adds. “If you are suffering from hair loss, there are so many options so don’t wait to seek help. We’re here to restore both your appearance and your confidence.”
