The spectacular party destination

Your party, awesome and stress free.

Guests at Bunker Hill’s parties and fundraisers marvel at the facility’s recently renovated event center, which features a full view of the gorgeous golf course. But in the summer, many people prefer to enjoy the sunshine, fresh air and starlit skies outside.

That’s why Bunker Hill Golf Course this summer has followed up its event center refurbishment with an expansion of its popular outdoor pavilion.

“Everybody loves to throw parties at our 40-year-old pavilion, and now it’s even better,” beams General Manager Chad Gibson, master of the hassle-free event. “We’ve expanded the size from 30-by-60 feet to 30-by-90, and we doubled our seating capacity from 80 under the roof to 160. Plus, we have picnic tables that can accommodate a lot more people outside the pavilion. We have cornhole and fire pits and a lot of room to mingle in the grassy area outside. It’s very kid friendly as well.”

The pavilion includes a full-service 60-foot bar and food service area, an area for Bunker Hill’s house DJ, and a lot of space for raffles and other fundraisers.

“The pavilion is perfect for everything, including birthday parties, family reunions, graduation parties, company parties, church events, retreats and other gatherings,” Chad says. “We do all the catering in-house, which can be a fancy steak or barbecue package, which are most popular, but we also could scale back and do hamburgers, hot dogs or Italian sausage fresh off the grill.”

Bunker Hill’s catered events can be scheduled for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The pavilion is usually reserved for three hours, but additional time can be purchased.

“The pavilion is particularly nice for our fall clambakes, which we’re now booking for September and October,” Chad assures. “As with all our parties and fundraisers, we make our clambakes hassle-free and as simple as possible so hosts can spend their time having fun with their guests. We set you up with an event flyer and a website to handle registration for your dinner guests and sponsors, and we handle your social media, like Facebook. Our team is here to not only set up your social media Facebook event page, but they’ll also coach and teach you and your volunteers or family on how to like, share and invite other guests so you can maximize it.”

Bunker Hill’s stress-free approach is one reason why the facility is trusted to host more than 100 fundraisers every year, Chad says.

“We do about 1,500 meals a week during the summertime,” Chad adds. “Our team takes care of all the food service, and we have a full-service bar as well. We have a florist and a photographer that we work with and a local hotel that we deal with for hotel stays and shuttling to and from the event.”

Bunker Hill’s clambakes include a half chicken, potatoes, corn and clam chowder—and the choice of clams, steak or shrimp.

Bunker Hill can accommodate clambakes from 40 to 160 people. Those who prefer an indoor party might want to reserve the event center instead of the pavilion, Chad suggests.

“The event center is climate controlled, with linen tablecloths, overlooking the golf course,” he says.

Bunker Hill’s Sims Room—which features the latest technology in computer golf simulators—is another desirable spot for exciting parties.

“It’s a blast for birthday parties and diaper parties,” Chad says. “The simulators include a ton of fun arcade games—like those where you can aim your shots at the driving range ball retrievers or windows of a downtown building.”
