Stay in the game!

You don’t have to hang up your clubs for the winter. Bunker Hill Golf Course offers exciting indoor play via six Full Swing Pro 2.0 golf simulators, so players can experience the thrill of more than 70 championship courses.

A stack of books sits on a wooden table, next to a lit candle and a warm cup of coffee or tea.

With six state-of-the-art Full Swing Pro 2.0 golf simulators, Bunker Hill Golf Course offers the opportunity for experienced and novice golfers to continue play well into the winter months. Parties that incorporate the simulator experience have become wildly popular.

While most area golf courses are pulling their flagsticks for the season, things are just getting warmed up at Bunker Hill Golf Course.

With six state-of-the-art Full Swing Pro 2.0 golf simulators, the Greg Jones Golf Academy, a bustling party business and full-service event center, this destination has transformed itself into Northeast Ohio’s year-round playground for golfers and non-golfers alike. It’s time to bag your offseason.

“We have something fun going on for everyone,” says General Manager Chad Gibson, who notes Bunker Hill's indoor season runs Monday, November 2, through Friday, April 2, 2027.

Your Tee Time is Calling

“Endorsed by the PGA, our upgraded simulators are the best in the industry, providing an accurate experience of what it feels like to launch your ball on more than 70 championships courses, including Pebble Beach and Saint Andrews,” says Chad. “Anyone who may be intimidated by sim technology is always pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to self-manage. I liken it to the self-checkout at a grocery store. You may not want to try it at first, but once you see how easy it is, you’re comfortable.”

Bunker Hill offers winter leagues for men, women and juniors, with individual, team and scramble formats. And PGA Professional Greg Jones offers private and group lessons, clinics and golf boot camps, making winter an opportunity to improve at the game rather than waiting for spring.

Sim Room Takeover

Holiday parties, birthday parties, retirement parties and company gatherings can become simulator takeovers for up to 40 guests.

“Along with traditional sim golf, guests can play Showdown Golf with about 30 arcade-style games,” says Chad. “They can smash virtual windows, hit targets or knock a character off a golf cart. Add Jumbo Jenga, great food, a bar and plenty of TVs for watching games, and suddenly no one is worried about the weather outside.”

He says one of their most popular events has become the shower/diaper party. Moms-to-be and friends enjoy a shower downstairs in the event center and dads-to-be and their buddies head upstairs for sim golf, pizza, drinks and sports. Their admission is diapers.

Putting the FUN in Fundraiser

“Hosting charitable events has become a specialty for us,” Chad says, noting Bunker Hill hosts more than 100 events annually, benefitting schools, churches, nonprofits and families in need. Indoor golf outings can accommodate 36 golfers, followed by as many as 130 additional guests joining the fun downstairs for dinner, raffles, games and fundraising.

“We’re turnkey, handling all the details, down to the fliers and registration, so groups can concentrate on raising money,” he says. “Outings usually bring in more than $10,000.”

The 19th Hole is Open

To celebrate holiday parties, weddings, celebrations of life and company gatherings, he says the beautifully renovated event center downstairs accommodates up to 160 guests. It offers sweeping panoramic golf-course views, a dance floor and flexible space.

“We are approaching our 100th anniversary next year in historic Medina County, so the events we throw will be even more special,” he says.
