At Kare Pelvic Health, Dr. Kari Craig and her exceptional team specialize in treating the pelvic floor through physical therapy, alleviating patients’ pain and discomfort related to the pelvis area with individualized treatments that show enduring results.

For most people, the body can be incredibly intimidating, especially when it isn’t working the way it is supposed to. Most people might not even suspect that the pain or issues they struggle with can be connected to pelvic floor dysfunction. Urinary leakage, bowel leakage and even painful intercourse can be signs of dysfunction, and it can be hard to find restorative treatments that last.

At Kare Pelvic Health, Dr. Kari Craig and her exceptional team specialize in treating the pelvic floor through physical therapy, alleviating patients’ pain and discomfort related to the pelvis area with individualized treatments that show enduring results.

Kare Pelvic Health was founded by Dr. Craig, who started her career in orthopedic physical therapy but always had pelvic health at the back of her mind—particularly with patients experiencing incontinence.

“Once I had my son things really got rolling,” explains Dr. Craig. “After I had him, I had some issues with prolapse. At the time, there was nowhere to go except somewhere that was a good 45-minute drive. For me with a newborn, that felt like a lot.”

What makes Kare Pelvic Health special is its commitment to treat every patient as an individual, meaning there is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Their services benefit men and women through all stages in life—even pediatrics. They also have a program dedicated to pregnancy, preparing the pelvic floor for labor and a follow-up after birth.

Dr. Craig hopes that each patient walking through the door walks away with results that produce a better quality of life and health. She also hopes to spread awareness about pelvic health and bust the myth that it’s just Kegels.

“When we get to see you, we make it a point to learn about you, like how your kids are and what they’re into,” she says. “We want to know because we form genuine relationships with people, and it’s cool to have the opportunity to do that.”

Kare Pelvic Health is located at 7575 Fredle Drive, Suite 202, in Concord. To learn more about Kare Pelvic Health, visit KarePelvicHealth.com or call 440-256-6268.
