Hearing the Call assists audiology practices in providing services to income-eligible families. Through this organization, Sounds of Life raises funds to subsidize hearing care for patients in the community who cannot afford it.

Sounds of Life Hearing Center, an audiology private practice in Concord Township, is proud to provide excellent and evidence-based hearing care both in the clinic and internationally. As a practice that prioritizes give-back and community service, they partner with Hearing the Call, a non-profit organization with the mission to expand access to hearing health care in underserved communities.

Hearing the Call assists audiology practices in providing services to income-eligible families. Through this organization, Sounds of Life raises funds to subsidize hearing care for patients in the community who cannot afford it. Additionally, Hearing the Call expands its reach internationally by organizing humanitarian trips to countries with limited access to audiology services. The Sounds of Life team is excited to represent our community in several of these upcoming trips.

In October and November, Sounds of Life audiologists will travel to South Africa and Guatemala, where they will provide a wide range of audiology services to those who would otherwise go without care. These include diagnostic testing for both adults and infants, cerumen management (earwax removal), hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored devices. Through these efforts, Sounds of Life carries out its mission of delivering not only better hearing, but also renewed opportunities for education, work and connection.

The Hearing the Call program at Sounds of Life Hearing Center relies entirely on donations. Donations are used to subsidize hearing care for members of our local community who are unable to afford it. If you are interested in donating, please contact Sounds of Life at 440-579-4085 or hear-foryou1@soundsoflifehc.com.
