The Villas at Canterwood Farms breaks ground on new amenity-rich community hub.

Ground has been broken for The Villas at Canterwood Farms community center, an 1,800-square-foot space that includes an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a kitchen area, and an additional room for private functions. The Villas at Canterwood Farms, a 20th Century Construction community in Concord Township, is growing and adding more amenities to its convenient, low maintenance living, luxury ranch community located in a beautiful, natural setting that caters to the “lock and leave” lifestyle empty nesters are looking for.

“We are happy to announce the groundbreaking of the clubhouse at Canterwood Farms,” Vice President of Sales and Marketing Allison Riebe Moore says. This is 1,800 square feet of space that includes an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a kitchen and an additional room for private functions. “Residents are really looking forward to the clubhouse and especially getting in a pool that they do not have to maintain. There is also designated space for a future bocce or shuffleboad court.”

The clubhouse is a unique feature that not many other similar communities have. Allison says residents envision hosting events like wine nights, water aerobics, poker and pool nights, book clubs and so much more.

“All of our homes’ floor plans are spacious and made for entertaining, but when the kids, grandkids and extended family and friends arrive, it’s always nice to have another space to spread out,” Allison says. “And who doesn’t love a pool party?”

Canterwood Farms is an example of 20th Century Construction’s dedication to easy, low maintenance living that supports an active lifestyle. A family-owned-and-operated business, 20th Century Construction has a longstanding history of building high-quality family homes in the area since 1981, and that continues with its partnership with Epcon Communities, which has been building homes with empty nesters in mind since 1986.

“This partnership gives us access to Epcon’s six floor plans ranging from 1,400 to 3,000-plus square feet of living space,” Allison says. “These quality, turnkey homes feature universal design options and high-end fixtures and finishes from companies like G.E., Moen, Shaw and James Hardie. Our interior designer guides each homeowner through the decision-making process until his/her new home is everything they’ve dreamt about.”

Allison says her family often hears from past clients whose homes they built back in the 1980s and 90s who are looking for something easier and more functional for their lives today. 20th Century Construction has responded to those needs with The Villas at Canterwood Farms and brought the same quality and thoughtful process to these homes as it did with those first builds years ago.

“We tell potential residents to plan on a six-to-eight-month build time, but, right now, someone is in luck,” Allison says. “One spec house will be ready for a late-summer move in. This 2,500-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom, open layout home includes a den, a bonus suite and a gourmet kitchen. If you are looking to move in the next couple of months, call for a tour. It won’t last long.”

If you miss out on the spec home but love the idea of a low maintenance, luxury lifestyle close to shopping, restaurants and highways but with the feel of being far from the fray, Canterwood Farms has opened a second phase of the community.

“The community is 70% sold,” Allison says. “We have 18 lots left and invite you to visit us and take a look.”

Just think, this time next year, no more yardwork on the weekends. You’ll be relaxing and dipping your toes in the pool. So, stop dreaming and visit Canterwood Farms for a glimpse into your future.
