Jack Dever specializes in larger scale residential projects from custom kitchens to master baths/suites, room additions, whole house remodeling, basement remodeling and dedicated theatre rooms, as well as commercial projects and historic preservation, all with a budget of $50,000 or more.
Growing up in the construction field, Jack fondly returned to it 30 years ago after college and several years in the corporate world.
Over the years, he has been heavily involved in the local construction industry, promoting it by being a correspondent for Fox 8-TV Cleveland, earning numerous certifications and belonging to many associations.
Jack differs from other building in that he runs the business by coming to the job site personally every day. As the only point person, he will be the only person a client deals with. His team includes a seasoned architect, interior designer and craftsmen, who work together seamlessly and have all been in this business for decades.
The process includes:
- First On-site Meeting – This free construction consultation includes a tour of the work area. Initial photos and measurements are taken and the potential clients will fill out a questionnaire to help Jack understand their needs. He will provide a ballpark range of what the project may cost. He will provide a design service agreement at the end of the meeting.
- Design Phase I – Design consideration and product selections are finalized. Final job specifications are prepared and the final price is presented for the client’s final approval and signatures. Jack will schedule a meeting at the home with the designer to gather pertinent information for the project, so the designer can prepare schematic drawings that will help him prepare a ballpark estimate. Based on the budget, he enters the last phase of design.
- Design Phase II – Final drawings are prepared, final product selections are made and trades meetings are conducted if required, all to help establish the final scope of work and construction contract fixed price.
