The all-inclusive wedding

At The Aviator Event Center, your own private wedding planner handles every detail to create your perfect dream wedding. All you have to do is mail the invitations.

In addition to al fresco receptions, The Aviator Co-Owner Khadar Soussou reports that micro-weddings are a growing trend.

With the mission of bringing fairytale weddings to life, The Aviator Event Center & Pub has become a sought-after venue, hosting more than 100 glamorous weddings each year.

“We strive to offer the upscale amenities you’d find in a downtown Cleveland venue, but at affordable prices,” say Co-Owner Khadar Soussou. “Busy couples love our all-inclusivity. They’ll work with the same dedicated onsite wedding planner throughout the process and on the day of the wedding.”

All the details are included—from photography to flowers, bakery, lighting, photo booth, linens to suit any color palette and a totally customized wedding menu.

“Pretty much all the couple has to do the day of their wedding is show up,” Khadar says, laughing.

Special Spaces to Suit your Style, Size

“We have a variety of elegant event spaces,” he says. “Our main ballroom—the 6,000-square-foot Flight Event Space overlooking Cleveland Hopkins International Airport—can handle up to 350 people. Its grand style features a white marble dance floor beneath a custom crystal Italian chandelier. Other event spaces include Gabriella’s Room, with stone walls and charming atmosphere that accommodates up to 120 people; and Sophia’s Room, which is more intimate (it accommodates up to 30 people) and a perfect spot for wedding parties to chill out and get ready before the main event.”

Outdoor Receptions and Micro-Weddings

One of the coolest venues within The Aviator is Altitude, the rooftop bar. Perfect for moving the after-party there or hosting cocktail hour before the reception, it gives your guests a chance to catch a front-row seat as planes touch down and take off next door.

“We’re also currently planning lots of outdoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 300 guests, with our charming courtyards overlooking the runways,” Khadar adds.

In addition to al fresco receptions, he reports that micro-weddings are a growing trend. “Couples looking for smaller events at an affordable price point enjoy these weddings for up to 100 guests that take place on Thursdays and Sundays,” he says. “Much like our other weddings, everything is customizable to the couple’s unique taste.”

Sunday Brunches

With one of the biggest brunches in Cleveland, The Aviator hosts upwards of 450 people each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“I love it when foodies tell us we are the favorite brunch they’ve ever been to,” says owner Khadar Soussou. “This is really where our Chef Bryan Thomas shines. Everything is over the top, from the Carving Station with roasted beef sirloin and ham to the Seafood Station with oysters, shrimp, scallops and mussels, as well as made-to-order omelets and build-your-own waffle and French toast bar.”

It wouldn’t be brunch without specialty cocktails, so look for several delicious varieties of Bloody Marys and mimosas, as well as fancy coffee drinks. The cost is $45 for adults, $25 for kids 4-12, and free for children 3 years of age and under. Make reservations online at AviatorCLE.com.

The Aviator Event Center & Pub is located at 20920 Brookpark Road in Cleveland next to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. For reservations or to schedule a tour, call 216-770-5300 or visit AviatorCLE.com.
