Always on the leading-edge of technology, Dr. Michael Yerukhim has just introduced the latest in facial rejuvenation—Daxxify.

Dr. Yerukhim is the founder of the Cleveland Aesthetics Center, which is one of the first practices in Northeast Ohio to offer this new treatment. Dr. Yerukhim has used Botox, Dysport and Xeomin since opening his practice in 2014; almost a decade later, he has added the newest cutting-edge neuromodulator to his arsenal of tools for facial rejuvenation to provide much longer-lasting results.

This vegan peptide-powered FDA-approved neuromodulator smooths moderate to severe lines between the brows and is easily applied to all the typical areas treated with Botox and Dysport. It is also the only prescription frown line treatment made in the United States, as it is manufactured in Silicon Valley, California, and not imported from other countries, so there is much excitement about this new product.

Daxxify is a vegan peptide-powered FDA-approved neuromodulator and is made in the US.

“It has quicker onset and is longer lasting,” Dr. Yerukhim says. “If you want more time with less lines, this new product is designed to last up to twice as long as conventional frown line treatments, which typically last three to four months. With Daxxify, the results last on average six months for many patients and up to nine months for some. So on average, patients just need two treatments a year to keep your frown lines smoother year-round.”

Facial lines are formed by repeated muscle contractions such as frowning, squinting or raising the eyebrows. These facial expressions cause the skin to furrow and fold, which eventually leads to the formation of wrinkles. Other factors that can cause facial lines are decreased collagen production, cellular changes, genetics, environmental damage and sun damage.

Similar to other neuromodulators, Daxxify works below the skin’s surface to temporarily reduce the underlying muscle activity responsible for moderate to severe frown lines. However, you see the results quicker, within one to two days, and more profound final results within a two-week timeframe.

Dr. Michael Yerukhim offers a number of different wrinkle reduction treatments. The newest is Daxxify, a neuromodulator that works quickly and lasts longer.

“Injectables have been around for 20 years and my patients love the look, but wish the results lasted longer,” Dr. Yerukhim says. “Now with this new product, I can offer a better solution. We are always looking to give our patients the best experience, top quality, better options and the best longer-lasting results.”

At Dr. Yerukhim’s practice, they don’t use anything they would not use on themselves, in order to make sure it is worth their patients’ time and money.

“Just like the cobbler’s children have no shoes, I don’t get many treatments myself because I’m always busy working. Daxxify seemed ideal for me for this reason, and I wanted to try it,” says Lavonne Urban, practice manager. “It set in within 24 hours as my forehead was smooth, but not too tight, the very next morning,” she says. “It is perfect for special events as you don’t need to plan ahead since the results are almost overnight.”

In addition to injectibles and fillers, Dr. Yerukhim offers other non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments, including the Profound RF Microneedling—a skin-tightening procedure that combines radio frequency energy with microneedling to reach deeper layers of the skin and stimulate the body to create more collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid—the building blocks that keep skin looking smooth and youthful.

With Daxxify, you see the results quicker, within one to two days, and more profound final results within a two-week timeframe.

For the ultimate facial rejuvenation results, he offers many cutting-edge surgical procedures, including deep-plane facelifts—the most powerful approach to rejuvenate the neck, jawline and middle of the face; lip lifts, especially when fillers may not be appropriate; and rhinoplasty to change the size and shape of the nose and help patients breathe better.
