The ultimate upgrade

From gardens to pools, Peters Professional Landscaping can upgrade any outdoor area.

The backyard is about to become the favorite room of the house again.

Is yours ready?

Since 1992, Peters Professional Landscaping has helped people turn their yards into destinations.

“Our designers and installers can bring to life a space that fits any lifestyle, with paver patios, ponds and water features, hot tubs, firepits, fireplaces, outdoor lighting, outdoor kitchens, gazebos, pavilions and pergolas,” says Chris Peters, who founded the award-winning company.

During the initial consultation, Chris finds out how customers want to spend their time outdoors and then builds the concept around that.

“After we build the patio footprint and designate living spaces, we add sophisticated lighting and heating elements to maximize enjoyment of it,” he says.

It’s Mulch & Maintenance Season

Chris says they buy mulch in bulk at low prices.

“Quality is the biggest difference between our mulch and what you’d buy by the bag from a big-box store,” he adds. “Our high-end material slow releases nutrients, beneficial bacteria and microorganisms that enrich the soil. Our staff meticulously blows mulch over beds for a perfect finish.”

Another maintenance service Peters offers is hydroseeding. Using high-pressure hoses, the techs spray a slurry of seed, fertilizer, mulch and water onto soil.

“This alternative to traditional seeding produces a more beautiful lawn in less time,” he adds.

Trends in Pools

One of the best-known providers of luxury fiberglass pools in the area, Peters is gearing up for another landmark year.

“Our customers want to transform their backyards into a vacation playland and customize pools that reflect their homes,” says Chris.

When it comes to pool preferences in Northeast Ohio, he reports they have shifted over the past year or two.

“People are looking for smaller, flat-bottomed styles without a deep end,” he says. “Most people want wraparound benches for casual bench seating lining the interior perimeter of their pool, or built-in tanning loungers at a shallow end for that unmistakable resort vibe. Water features like intricate cascading waterfalls and sunken spillover spas elevate the lavish effect.”

Just as impressive as the esthetics is the technology in today’s pools. Thanks to smart, AI-driven systems, the modern pool-owning experience isn’t what it used to be. You can monitor and control everything from your phone.

“Pool owners can connect to their pools virtually,” he says. “They can remotely check if a cover is on and find out the alkalinity of the water. They can also monitor and control the temperature.”

Based in Medina, Peters Professional Landscaping serves homes, businesses and HOAs throughout Northeast Ohio and enjoys an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
