Radiance redifined

Among the many laser treatment options available at NorthCoast Laser is the revolutionary Xerf treatment. Here’s how it can zap away the years.

A stack of books sits on a wooden table, next to a lit candle and a warm cup of coffee or tea.

BEFORE AND AFTER: Before-and-after results from a Xerf treatment at NorthCoast Laser MedSpa showing noticeable tightening of the neck and jawline after just one session. The images were taken four weeks apart.

Summertime memories are golden, carefree and idyllic, fond remembrances that gain a kinder lens as we age. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could actually peer through a kinder lenses and see a younger-looking self in the mirror? Someone who looks more like the person in your memories?

For more than 20 years, NorthCoast Laser MedSpa has helped clients achieve a more youthful appearance through minimally invasive esthetic treatments focused on enhancing natural beauty.

Led by co-owners Betsy Miranda, Dr. Jim Turbett and Melissa Zappola, LPN, the practice emphasizes personalized care and tailored treatment plans designed to help clients look and feel their best.

“Our compassionate team is here to listen, hold space and provide tailored recommendations that make people feel heard, understood and valued,” Miranda says. The medspa’s experienced team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, estheticians and support staff work together to provide expert care throughout every step of the client experience.

Tighten and Tone

One of the latest treatments in the beauty industry to tighten skin—Xerf (pronounced “zurf”) has made its way to Cleveland. This non-invasive, FDA-approved skin tightening treatment is a non-surgical treatment designed to improve skin firmness, smooth fine lines and restore a more youthful appearance. The procedure requires little to no downtime, allowing most patients to resume normal daily activities shortly after treatment.

People throughout Lake County are seeing amazing results, including Betsy, Dr. Jim and Melissa, who have all been “Xerfed.”

Betsy explains results generally appear immediately and then continue over the next three to six months, lasting up to two years. There are no needles and no numbing required. The technician simply smooths ultrasound gel over the face and glides the handheld device that delivers the radio frequency.

“Patients find it relaxing,” she says. “Sometimes they even fall asleep.”

Katie Krane had this to say after getting Xerfed: “From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and at home by Lauren and Courtney! They are both so friendly and helpful! Melissa was my provider for the Xerf treatment and she is the best! So knowledgeable about every treatment offered and always makes me feel comfortable with what she is doing. The entire staff at North Coast is amazing! I always have a great experience with amazing results!”

Advanced Lasers, Weight Loss, Wellness

With a comprehensive suite of six lasers, everything from pigmentation and resurfacing and hair and tattoo removal is possible.

Each journey begins with a thoughtful consultation, tailoring results-driven solutions to individual goals. Complementing these are services such as microneedling, hydrafacials, dermaplaning and injectables.

Beyond esthetics, the med spa embraces whole-body wellness, offering Coolsculpting body contouring, medical-grade skincare and supervised weight-loss wellness programs. This comprehensive approach is rooted in confidence, longevity and feeling like your best self again—the one from your favorite summertime mmories.
