After nearly four years in Hudson, Dr. Divito has nearly doubled her team, extended office hours, and, with innovative techniques, equipment and amenities, improved the patient experience, making every visit comfortable and, as Dr. Divito dares to say, “enjoyable.” 

“I understand many people experience real fear when it comes to dental procedures,” says Dr. Divito. “When I started Luminous Dental, my goal was to offer the highest-quality oral health care while addressing patients’ fear with real solutions to help them relax before and during their visits.”

Luminous Dental utilizes the latest equipment and techniques to help streamline your treatment time and make it more comfortable.

What’s New at Luminous Dental 

Luminous Dental recently added Dr. Amanda Brewer to the team, offering general dentistry services, orthodontics and family dentistry. An additional hygienist and an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, who is a dental professional trained in procedures such as placing fillings, temporary crowns and bridges, have also joined the practice. 

“Every new team member is someone I have worked with in the past and fits right in with our vibe,” says Dr. Divito. “The team we’ve built is something special, and it’s what makes our practice unique. We are all women. We understand life can be hectic and we do whatever it takes to get you in, out and on your way.”

“We’ve been known to hold the baby while mom is having her teeth cleaned,” she smiles. “We all get it. Let’s get you the best dental care in an environment where your needs are genuinely addressed.”

In addition to new team enabling Luminous Dental to extend hours, the practice added a treatment room and a state-of-the-art scanner that makes those goopy, gag-reflex-inducing impressions a thing of the past.

“The scanner is a game changer for many patients,” says Dr. Divito. “It’s also helpful for making the clear alignment process simpler, cleaner and more precise.”

Luminous Dental Vibe

When asked to describe that “vibe” she mentioned, Dr. Divito lets her patients do the talking. 

“We know how the team feels, but how do our patients feel?” asks Dr. Divito. “Nothing makes us happier than hearing people tell us they have a friend who loves coming here because we make dental care easy and comfortable. These comments let us know we’re doing dentistry the right way.”

Dr. Divito says the key aspect of the vibe at Luminous Dental is very simple: kindness. Whether you keep up with your dental visits regularly or haven’t been in years, the team here wants you to know there are no judgments. 

“We are not here to scold or lecture you,” says Dr. Divito. “We first listen to your needs and answer all your questions, then help you get back on track. People do their own research now, and, I’ll be honest, my philosophy is that the least we can do is the best we can do. My goal is to turn your bad experience around, meet you where you are and move forward. And I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get you there, even for the most dental-phobic.”

Dr. Divito says there are so many new materials available today, offering patients options to avoid drilling, extraction and other procedures, while offering you the best, brightest smile.
