It’s a new year and you’re looking around your home and wondering how you can make a dramatic change without a dramatic price tag. Chagrin Home Improvements has the answer, offering a much more cost-effective, quick and convenient solution—paint.

Owner Joe Jacobs offers the premier cabinet painting process that promises to be a game-changer for your kitchen and your life. In just five days, you’ll have a like-new kitchen for a fraction of the cost, and time, of a traditional, invasive kitchen renovation.

“Our unique, professional cabinet painting system is something we worked hard to perfect and offer to our customers to make a total kitchen revitalization possible for both budget and lifestyle,” Joe says. “Many people want the look of a new kitchen but put off a renovation year after year for many reasons. Our painting process is the answer to all of them. Whether it’s the cost, the time, the disruption or even the fear of a gut job that’s stopping you, our painting process is for you.”

Joe and his crew promise full use of your kitchen throughout their process with minimal disruption to your family’s lifestyle. Here’s how it’s done.

  1. The process begins with a visit to your home to assess the cabinets and the scope of the job. You then receive a written, detailed quote.
  2. The removal of the cabinet doors, drawers and hardware. Everything is cataloged to ensure it’s put back in the right place.
  3. Cabinet doors and drawers are taken to the painting facility where the critical preparation process begins. A crew member fills cracks or holes in the wood before sanding every inch to a smooth finish, cleaning them thoroughly to remove dust or residue, then applying two coats of premium primer and spraying two coats of extremely durable, urethane enamel paint for a flawless finish.
  4. While the doors are painted off-site, a crew member is carefully painting the cabinet boxes in your home to ensure a stunning, uniform finish.
  5. Cabinets and hardware are re-installed.

Chagrin Home Improvements has invested in a state-of-the-art cabinet painting process, a dedicated facility in Chagrin Falls, and staff training to create results you have to see to believe.

“Our customers are shocked when they see their cabinets,” Joe says. “This is so much more than just painting. Your cabinets will look brand-new, and not just because they’re a different color. The flawless finish our system creates allows us to transform your cabinets.”

And speaking of color, kitchen trends for 2025 include just that. Darker hues like navy, charcoal gray, deep greens and even black are the latest in cabinet finishes for 2025.

“People are also requesting two-tone cabinets, where lighter colored or wood-stained cabinets are mixed with more saturated colors on lower or island cabinets. The possibilities are endless.”

Committing to new cabinets, especially a bold color, is scary. The installation process itself can cause an expensive ripple effect you never anticipated.

“Tearing out old cabinets impacts just about everything else in the space, including walls, countertops, backsplash, sink, appliances and plumbing,” Joe says. “Your kitchen layout is like a puzzle. All the pieces fit together, and if one thing doesn’t fit perfectly, every other piece is affected. You can end up having to replace things you never anticipated replacing, and there goes your easy update.”
