FloorzFest!

Mimi Vanderhaven • July 8, 2026

Free family fun, food, raffles and special savings come together at FloorzFest this Saturday, July 11 at the Floorz Strongsville location.

A stack of books sits on a wooden table, next to a lit candle and a warm cup of coffee or tea.

To show its appreciation to the entire community, Floorz is giving back by hosting a blockbuster festival this Saturday, July 11, from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of its LedgeWood Plaza location, across from SouthPark Mall in Strongsville.

The event, called “FloorzFest,” will be a day of summer fun featuring free food and entertainment. “We wanted to take a beautiful summer day to thank the communities of Strongsville, Brunswick, Medina and beyond for the support they have shown us,” says Floorz owner Brian Erickson. “With support from other businesses in our plaza, we are planning many family-friendly events.”

The family fun includes:

  • Free hot dogs
  • Free Kona Ice
  • Photos with a Strongsville fire truck (1-3 p.m.)
  • Photos with the Floorz official race car
  • Face painting
  • Mini-golf
  • Dunk tank
  • Numerous raffles

All activities are free except for the dunk tank, where guests will have the opportunity to dunk Brian himself and other Floorz team members. All proceeds benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

Other participating LedgeWood Plaza businesses include:

  • StretchLab
  • Rally House
  • Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
  • Voudoux Vodka
  • The Good Feet Store

Flooring Discounts, Too

The FloorzFest celebration will also include in-store discounts on flooring, including no-interest financing, 10% off your entire project, and an additional 5% off materials from select vendors.

“If you can’t make the event, don’t worry,” Brian says. “These FloorzFest special discounts run through August 31.”
