A safe space in every hand
Find Your Voice Now’s new app will connect women around the world to real-time support, resources and community—anytime, anywhere.

The A Safe Space in Your Pocket mobile app will serve as a comprehensive resource hub offering all current services provided by Find Your Voice Now, along with enhanced features like real-time chat support, messaging, video conferencing and more.
Not long after Annie Roth and Mary Ellen Bartlett connected on a four-hour flight to Seattle in 2021, Find Your Voice Now (FYVN) was created. Today, FYVN is a worldwide virtual support group with the mission of empowering women to unleash their inner strength and break the chains of toxic relationships whether with a spouse, parent, co-worker, sibling or friend and take control of their lives again.
Founded in 2022 and experiencing two years of unprecedented growth, FYVN today is now an online community of more than 2,100 women from around the world discussing their shared experiences in twice-monthly virtual group meetings offering each other support, perspective, encouragement and motivation. All FYVN services, including one-on-one coaching and corporate and school programs are offered free of charge.
“To move our mission forward, we’re creating a mobile app, A Safe Space in Your Pocket, to give women a way to connect anytime, anyplace,” Annie says. “The growth of our online community is proof of the power of connection. The app will make that connection immediate.”
A Safe Space in Your Pocket
FYVN has launched a fundraising campaign for A Safe Space in Your Pocket offering immediate support to individuals, right in the palm of their hands.
“With the goal of raising $100,000 by the end of 2025, funds will be used to develop the app that will significantly expand access to FYVN’s vital resources and advocacy,” Annie says. “We recognize the urgent need for accessible support for the increasing number of individuals facing toxic and abusive relationships.”
The mobile app will serve as a comprehensive resource hub offering all current services provided by FYVN, along with enhanced features like real-time chat support, messaging, video conferencing and more. This dedicated platform aims to empower users, providing them with the tools they need to develop inner strength, make healthy decisions and find their voices.
With a target completion date set for the fall of 2026, the app is poised to revolutionize how FYVN interacts with and supports its community.
“Every day, we hear from women who feel isolated, scared and unsure where to turn,” co-founder Mary Ellen Bartlett says. “The mobile app will put help right into their hands and offer guidance, support and a sense of connection, no matter where you are or what time it is. There’s an overwhelming need for so many who have been living with unhealthy relationships to gain the skills and tools needed to address them. The FYVN community empowers each other to get healthy.”
Annie and Mary Ellen can’t do it alone. Your support will help them to build a lifeline for women who need hope, healing, and a reminder that they are never truly alone.
“Our support group already offers a community to those looking for a safe space for connection,” Mary Ellen says. “This application will put that safe space right in your pocket.”
FYVN is calling upon individuals, local businesses, community leaders and family foundations to contribute to this campaign. Every dollar raised will directly support the app’s development and implementation, ensuring that FYVN can continue its mission of fostering safety, healing and empowerment for everyone affected by toxic relationships.
