Where's the party?

Between the Encore Event Center, Via Roma Event Center & Ristorante,

and The Aviator Event Center & Pub, there’s always a celebration going on.

The Aviator Event Center & Pub, Via Roma Italian Event Center & Ristorante, and Encore Event Center offer Northeast Ohioans the opportunity to become giddily immersed in celebrating the holiday season and other events throughout the year. Where’s your party at?

The three destination venues under the Soaring Hospitality umbrella—The Aviator Event Center & Pub, Via Roma Italian Event Center & Ristorante and Encore Event Center—are prepping for an epic and memorable holiday season of parties and events.

Thanks to the vision of President Khadar Soussou and his partnership with Tony Di Fiore and the Rababy family, the restaurants have been completely reimagined and renovated over the past several years.

“We take delight in offering exceptional cuisine and a warm hospitality that have resonated with people,” he says.

Here’s a glance at what makes each one distinctive:

  • Encore Event Center (formerly Michaud’s Event Center) in Strongsville is the largest indoor/outdoor event center in Northeast Ohio. The 80,000-square-foot facility was taken down to the studs and revived to eight glorious new event spaces. The sprawling 1-acre outdoor courtyard is complete with fountains, five fire pits, a putt-putt golf hole, pavilion and a food truck zone.
  • Via Roma Event Center & Ristorante (formerly Carrie Cerino’s) blends classic Italian charm with modern elegance that is ideal for holiday dinners, celebrations and weddings. Its grand ballroom seats up to 350 and is a gracious venue for large-scale events, such as galas and charity fundraisers. And the stylish, speakeasy-style Grotto on the lower level seats 100. It plays host to local musical groups on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as some regional and national talent taking the stage. The Grotto Cinema will also feature weekly holiday movie screenings.
  • The Aviator Event Center & Pub (formerly the 100th Bomb Group) hosts more than 150 weddings per year. Its main ballroom, the 6,000-square-foot Flight Event Space, overlooks Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and can handle up to 400 people. Grand style features include a white marble dance floor beneath a custom crystal Italian chandelier. One of the coolest venues within The Aviator is the rooftop bar. Perfect for cocktail parties, showers, rehearsal dinners and tastings, it gives your guests the chance to catch a front- row seat as planes touch down and take off next door.

“We would not have been able to bring these cherished venues back to life were it not for our amazing team,” says Khadar. “We’re blessed with a lot of talent and enthusiasm and that’s made all the difference.”

Ho-Ho-Holiday Pop-Up Bar

As if the terrace level bar at Via Roma isn’t cool enough already, with its throwback lounge-y vibe, leather furniture and state-of-the-art acoustics, stage and dance floor‚ crafty elves have gone all out transforming it into Santa’s Pop-Up Bar.

“Over-the-top decor enjoyed with our signature holiday-themed cocktail creations makes this a magical space to toast the season,” says Khadar.
