What does your plan cover?

Scott McEvoy, Licensed Insurance Agent at HealthMarkets Insurance Agency • February 14, 2025

Schedule your policy review with Scott McEvoy of HealthMarkets Insurance Agency.

Now that you’re fully immersed in the new year, it’s a good time to turn your attention to the health insurance coverage you chose for 2025. Have any of your life circumstances changed? Do you know what your plan covers? Are you missing any coverage options you may not have thought about when you made your selection?

Many of the people I do a complimentary review for are surprised to find out they may have insurance benefits in their healthcare policy they’re paying for but are not using.

Simply put, they don’t know what their plan covers.

For example, they may have coverage for over-the-counter medication but have no idea they may be able to get reimbursed for those purchases.

Or, they may have gotten a new job with an increased salary, gotten married, or had a minor child become an adult, making them eligible to obtain their own health insurance. All these scenarios can impact the way you pay for and use your benefits. Are you lacking in certain areas that may be important to your individual situation?

It can be a prudent move to sit down with me so I can review your current standing.

When we meet, I’ll help to uncover the benefits you have coming to you under your plan, and help you understand how best to utilize them. And the best part is, there is no charge for my guidance.

I’ll also look at your complete coverage situation. If you have a life insurance policy, for example, I’ll help you determine your needs and budget to ensure you have the right coverage for you and your family.
