Spring skin glow up

Laura Briedis • April 14, 2025

Say goodbye to dull, dry, lackluster winter skin with help from the professional team at SCS Elite MediSpa.

The Rezenerate NanoFacial uses a pen-like tool to create nano channels that allow ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin for better results than if applied topically.

At Skin Care Solutions Elite MediSpa, the doctors, nurses and estheticians all follow the beauty philosophy that the best makeup you can wear is glowing skin.

“We believe taking care of your skin is more important than covering it up, and it all starts with professional skincare treatments,” says Taylor Davidian, an esthetician at the Green office. “We nurture your skin using noninvasive esthetic treatments that will help rejuvenate and create a healthy glow.

“Instead of focusing on covering up your imperfections, it is better to focus on taking care of your skin with both professional spa treatments and an at-home skincare regimen, so when you do wear makeup you have the best base possible.”

Known for its facial rejuvenation treatments, such as facials, wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers, SCS Elite MediSpa has offices in Medina, Green and Wooster, where three physicians work side by side with nurse practitioners and estheticians to make you feel and look your best.

Get Glowing Results

The MediSpa features different facials throughout the year with a seasonal focus.

This month the spotlight is the Oxygen Revival Facial, which infuses your skin with pure oxygen, rejuvenating it from inside and out.

“Get flawless results and enjoy a rejuvenating experience you’ll love,” says esthetician Teresa Price, who works in the Wooster office. “This facial is deeply hydrating as we say goodbye to the dry, frigid winter and transition to warmer days.”

The Oxygen Facial helps deliver vital nutrients, enhance circulation, brighten the skin and boost collagen production, leaving you with a fresh, glowing complexion.

Resurface with BioRePeel

One of the MediSpa’s most popular skincare treatments is the BioRePeel, which works from the inside out so there is no peeling but rather a resurfacing of your skin.

“This revitalizing peel gets to the root of the issue from way below instead of peeling superficial layers of skin on the top,” says Taylor, who customizes facial treatments for each client and assists the physicians with fillers and injectables. “It improves the skin surface, reduces hyperpigmentation, diminishes acne and other imperfections, and accelerates cell turnover, stimulating the reconstruction of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layer.”

Results can be seen instantly and will continue to improve over the following weeks.

Tighten with Tixel

The newest skin-tightening treatment, Tixel uses heat and motion to create microscopic channels in the skin, promoting collagen production.

“We do not penetrate the skin, so it is very noninvasive,” Taylor explains.

It addresses a multitude or concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, crepey or sagging skin, pigmentation, acne and acne scarring.

“After a Tixel treatment you will notice improvement in skin texture, tone and pigmentation,” she says. “The long-term results are skin tightening and softening of lines when done in a series. We recommend three treatments, one per month for the first three months, then once a year for maintenance.”

Boost Collagen with NanoFacial

Another result-oriented skin care treatment is the Rezenerate NanoFacial, which uses a pen-like tool to create nano channels that allow ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin for better results than if applied topically.

“This facial paired with hyaluronic acid helps hydrate the skin, plump fine lines, improve skin texture, enhance product absorption and promote a healthy glow—perfect for a spring refresh,” says Taylor, who attended Arizona State University, where she earned a degree in psychology before moving back home to work as an esthetician.

“We have a lot of facials that all enhance the skin but offer different benefits, so we consult with each client to customize the treatment for each client’s specific needs.”

In addition to facials and other skincare treatments, the MediSpa offers Botox and dermal fillers, body contouring, hair restoration, hormone therapy and IV therapy for whole body wellness.

Skin Care Solutions Elite MediSpa has three offices: 410 S.
