Quality flows

Beetles Plumbing Solutions is committed to quality. It’s why owner Larry Betlejewski was named the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association's Contractor of the Year.

Two years ago, Larry Betlejewski took all the skills, knowledge and experience he had gained after working for plumbing companies for more than 30 years and struck out on his own, with his son, Larry III, wife Kelly and daughter Ella by his side. Today, Beetles Plumbing Solutions has added three additional trucks, two full-time plumbers and is building the business Larry had always dreamed about.

“It’s been a whirlwind but in the best possible way,” Beetles Plumbing Solutions co-owner Kelly Betlejewski says. “I’ve joined our family business, our son Larry now works for his dad full-time as he continues his apprentice training, and our high school daughter Ella helps our marketing expert with social media and customer appreciation. We serve our customers like family, with honesty and dedication to the highest quality of service.”

Beetles customers aren’t the only ones noticing. Larry was recently named the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractor’s Association (PHCC) Contractor of the Year.

“It’s been a priority for Larry to grow the business the right way,” Kelly says. “That means promoting and requiring ongoing education for our team. New apprentices attend school to obtain their journeyman certificate from the state. To acquire a plumbing license, you must work under a licensed plumber for five years, apply to the state and pass the exam. We insist on only trained professionals representing us in your home.”

Beetles Plumbing Solutions spends a lot of time either responding to emergencies or correcting the mistakes of DIYers or other companies.

“Not only do we fix the problem, but we also educate our customers on how to avoid it happening again, and even how to handle it themselves if it does,” co-owner Larry Betlejewski says. “We educate you and are here when you need us.”

Beetles Plumbing Solutions recommends a few things you can do to avoid emergencies.

Sump Pumps

The need for a sump pump depends on the sewer system connection from the street to your home. Advancements in technology ensure optimal performance, including smartphone technology for water detection.

“Some homes are excavated deeper than others, requiring a sump pump to clear the water away from the home,” Larry explains. “A sump pump offers protection and peace of mind.”

Water Detection Systems

Every home should have some sort of water detection, especially a home that’s empty for stretches of time or homes of elderly who may not be immediately aware of water problems.

“Smartphone technology allows for effective water detection,” Kelly says. “And some insurance companies offer discounts to help mitigate water damage claims.”

Frost-Free Faucets

This doesn't mean your faucets will never freeze, however, upgraded products make it less likely.

“You still need to take a few steps to avoid freezing,” Larry says. “But new technology makes it less likely. We’ll walk you through the process.”

Gas Lines

Pool heaters, fire pits, water tanks and outdoor grills all require a professional plumber for installation.

“Safety is paramount when dealing with gas lines,” Larry says. “And only a professional plumber should do the job.”

Beetles offers “peace of mind inspections” and camera inspections to take a peek at what’s going on underneath your home.

“We love what we do and a big part of that is educating customers," Kelly says. “Larry’s goal has always been to empower people to either do it themselves if possible, and to know when it’s time to call your neighborhood professional plumber at Beetles Plumbing Solutions."
